Week 4 - Content Strategy

Week 3

Hi all,

This is now turning into more of a 'dear diary' situation than anything else, but I don't mind.

I am still building on newsimpactscreener, and making decent progress. The product is becoming better, and the early sign ups are increasing slowly. It is turning into the product I imagined when I started it all, now I just need the users.

For me to get the users, I have started focusing on exposure on different channels. x for pre and intramarket updates, spotify for a daily premarket run down and instagram for reels and feature show casing. All in all, the marketing and outreach setup is also improving.

I did however face a mental block in creating content, and I wanted to share how I kinda got around it.

Content has never been my strong suit or my focus, and it is not because I am particular shy or afraid of it, but there was still something holding me back for some reason. And one thing that actually stood in my way was just the inertia of doing something new, not because of fear and not because of discomfort, but shear inertia.

What I am currently doing to overcome that inertia is simply recording when I am interacting or thinking of a content idea, this greatly decreased the barrier for me. Another thing that helped out is the 'Edits'-app from meta, it really covers most bases for beginners, and is where I am starting. I am not good at content, probably never will be, but I think it is important to do in this day and age to promote ones product.

So I'll keep building both the product and the content around it, especially now that the inertia has been broken!

Week 2 last week

Hi all,

I have started slowly posting in groups around the web about my project, and it is definitely works, slowly. I feel like this is something most builders (me included) need to realise, and that is marketing is necessary for everything we do. Don't follow the build it and they will come approach, they won't.

Start sharing your ideas and projects, don't build them quitely in your basements. Good projects need to see the light, so bring them out and let them flourish.

See you all next week!

Hi all,

When you guys are doing your research, are you also considering the relationships that your candidates have? Because I have been trying to map gather a lot of data on how each company relates to each other, to see if it can be used for anything.

So the attached image shows the relations there are to $AAPL and $NVO. And how could you use this in your research?
