I’ve never been the one to say that I’m losing my mind, I’ve always been happy with everything I have from my family to my belongings. But recently, everything I loved doing felt meaningless, like I didn’t need them. I’ve gone crazy trying to find something that helps me feel like I’m not losing my mind, from a chore, to a full-time hobby.
Every time I do one of these new hobbies, I instantly quit, thinking it’s as pointless as everything else I had ever done. Being bored of everything isn’t normal for me, I’m not entertained by what I already have, and it makes me feel empty.
It’s a strange anomaly, it just recently happened not too long ago, and I’m hoping someone here can tell me what is going on and what this whole thing is. I’ve asked Google about this topic, but it only says I’m experiencing a disconnection from reality (I’m unsure why it would say this, because it’s not a cause for why I can’t do what I used to do). Everything feels strange, and every day is like a time bomb, ticking until it explodes into a state of depression leaking into my everyday life.
What is this? Why am I experiencing emptiness? Hopefully someone can explain this to me
