This is probably the easiest custom/repaint I’ve ever done. Ngl I feel like the blood looks good in some areas and not so good in others. I haven’t added a protective coat so I can still undo all of this pretty easily. Should I try this with the official figure??
I’m almost done with this repaint. I was originally going for a very dark blue, but once I got this paint and repainted my Shf Joseph Joestar,I thought it would look good on this guy. Also I think it’s a pretty good color match for the new revoltech Symbiote spidey purple version.
I’m almost finished with the Shf Joseph Joestar manga repaint, and I think it turned out pretty good for the most part. The brown paint on the pants could use some work since I hand painted them after my airbrush stopped working. also, I’m waiting for some custom purple scarfs to arrive and a headband.
After weeks of not doing anything with this figure, I’ve finally finished with this dress. I finished the whole top portion today and managed to attach the sleeves after looking at some tutorials. Its not the best work ive done, but it will do for now. Because of the thick corset, most of the abdominal movement is limited. I’ll probaby buy a larger black ribbon today to replace the corset and hopefully get some more range. I'm pretty sure the skirt is too long and the bow on the top is too small, but I can easily redo the bow. I'm not even gonna bother with the skirt since it already looks pretty good and I don't wanna have to trim it and redo the ruffles. Also I forgot to double stitch the sleeves on the right arm, so it already started coming out😭😭😭. Just as I was about to finish I thought the whole thing looked kinda off, so I almost tossed the dress and call it a day. Thankfully I didn’t do that 😅. I’ll probably redo it sometime in the future or just commission someone to make one for me, but for now here’s how it turned out.

I finished adding some shading to my Shf Joseph, but, I still need to find a good matching paint for that pinkish purple that he has in the manga. I know it's mainly purple, but I want something like that cover art with the color shift paint like I did with the Jotaro Kujo.
I finally finished the sculpting the hair and it turned out pretty mediocre. To be honest, I’m probably just gonna leave it as it is, since it already took a lot of time to keep the hair right. When I was swapping it between the two faces, it’s sort of got bent out of shape and now it’s loose 😭.
I’ll have to find some way to 3D print the hair if I ever get around to doing that. For now, this is how it turned out.
Since nobody is making any figures for A.K.I, I guess I had to make my own.
I started working on this mid may of this year, and I was just waiting for parts and stuff to arrive. The heads were on eBay but only these two expressions, so I had to make some myself. I don’t really know anything about 3d modeling or printing so it’s still gonna be a while before I get them.
I definitely skipped over outfits 2&3 because of how difficult it would be to make them. The hair for c1 was also from eBay but, the c4 hair was hand sculpted so it looks terrible😭.
I kinda fucked up the dress by adding the wire, but it’s not too bad. I can always just redo it. I also plan on making a Jamie or JP. JP is probably gonna be easier since I alr found a head sculpt for him and I alr have a base body.

It still needs some work, but I’ll be done by Thursday hopefully. I have to let the gloss cure or else it starts scraping off. I wish I knew this before I did Kaine tho😭. I also have all the hands and accessories to do so that will take even more time. I plan on adding some transparent black on the white areas sort of like the last 2 images. But not too much.
So I ordered a better quality fabric and it turned out so much better than last time. Now I just need to sculpt the hair, and paint it. I also left a small gap under the bangs for the eyepatch.

Love this guy fr. Unfortunately my first one got tossed, but I still have some extra hands heads and spider bots.
I didn’t really like how I did the faces at first. Even though it’s better now, I can still see all the rigid and shaky lines. I’ll eventually redo it again but for now this is good enough. And for the paper effects I wanna try and stick them onto an acrylic sheet with some varnish and glue.
Yh I think the ruined the dress😭🙏. Also the poison chain was last minute so most of the photos don’t have it. I didn’t wanna mess up the dress I waited for ever to be delivered by using the sewing machine, so I used hot glue for the wire instead. This was so worth it but a real pain in the ass to find all these parts. Next I wanna do JP and Jamie💯.
