I prefer to buy from established stores/online retailers, but I was in a pinch (needed urgent delivery). Anyone used this brand, found on Amazon)? Are they as crappy as the price might suggest ($10 for 100, size 12)?

Just found the Paddleways app to look for places to go paddling, and it shows a boat ramp at Lake Azalea. Is that a public access spot? I always thought that was a private, neighborhood pond.
I read somewhere (here, maybe?) that if there are a lot of turtles in a pond, you’re wasting your time fishing there. Is that true? And if so, why?

Anybody working on that? All the people who worked so hard to have the former Lee High renamed, are they working on renaming the street, too? I presume they _are_ aware of the irony of this situation, no?
Saw this in the background of someone’s selfie in a nice steakhouse, and it made me wish this were more common in public. Even if this particular style ain’t your style, more fedoras and trillbies and fashionable hats would be nice.
There is one fly shop within an hour’s drive of my house, and their customer service is not great. There is a Bass Pro/White River shop close by, but the selection is dismal.
Who is your favorite online retailer? I happened by Risen Fly in Beaver, PA when I was on a business trip in that area, and love their shop and customer service. Who else would you recommend?
