Game down?

I'm new to melvor, but I am getting some sort of server error on both PC and mobile. Is it down? Or maintenance? Or is it somehow just me?

Made some upcoming Columbus concert playlists on spotify

I enjoy the premise of the "concerts near you" playlist on spotify, but the execution is a bit disappointing as I'd rather it lean as least slightly smaller or update more often. A lot of the time I think it'd be fun to see a concert over the next week, so I go through some smaller venues and peruse the upcoming concert bands. Throughout the afternoon I made a few playlists with a few songs from bands in concerts over the next couple months.

Generally I added 4 songs per band, which might be too many, and kept it to headliners unless there wasn't a clear headliner. A lot of events got skipped because they're not really concerts, but it's totally possible I missed a concert here or there.

They feature concerts from this weekend until the end of August, other than I think A&R where I went until September. It was a fun little project, and it'll be way easier to just remove songs and add upcoming bands than it was to add all these upfront, but I can't promise I'll update them consistently. I have it in mind to update it every Monday but we'll see. If nothing else it's a summer concert playlist.

Anyway, if you care to listen.

Rumba Cafe

King of Clubs

Newport

Ace of Cups

A&R

These are the venues I've frequented that I figure are both big enough to have most bands on spotify, but not the largest places around. If there's any more spots that I should do this for, I think I could probably handle keeping up with another playlist or two. This is mostly for me to just find some new bands and go to more concerts, but I figured there may be some interest.

Brother Bear - sorry, what the fuck?

I just watched this for the first time. Knew it was about a bear transformation, totally cool with that. Love Brave. Love bears.

I was fully on board and enjoying it. Little bit of action, lot of cute fun. Love Koda.

But as the brother kept hunting down the bears, I was getting mighty curious how it was going to be wrapped up. Surely no one else would die, but how would love win out? Kenai can speak bear through his totem? Cub gets turned too? Some sort of bear-human truce?

No, Kenai just stays a bear. What the fuck?

His older brother, in order to teach him a lesson that he was clearly directing, turns him into a bear. Keeps his other brother hunting said brother bear. And because Kenai naturally feels bad that his actions led to Koda's mothers death, he decides to stay a bear and guide him.

What?

Elder brother manipulated his little brother into becoming a bear forever. What the hell. And on that journey, kept his other brother on the trail trying to kill him in the freezing mountains - did I miss that teaching him wisdom in the background?

To say nothing of Koda basically needing to both greive the loss of his mother, and the knowledge that his new big brother was basically a monster that killed her and now wore her skin.

8/10 mindfuck ending.
