Please make the linux app usable

The dependencies are so old, they are literally deprecated for the linux desktop client player

Can we get some updates for current and new distros please. I would like to keep enjoying plex on my fedora 44.

Even on my mint 22.3, the distros it needed were deprecated, and mint has pretty old packages and support to begin with.

I think my pc is alive when i use chrome

It scrolls down for me, sometimes when i start typing the keyboard stops working. hmm. It selects items on my screen sometimes. My mouse pointer begins to freeze for a few seconds and then reappear where it should have been. Guys.. i think my pc is trying to tell me something. Could it be, like really? Hell it sometimes even clicks for me.

Well the issues arent limited to inside chrome, when u minimize or maximize some other app like a terminal, it reverses by itself.

Fedora 44 Cosmic spin
Fully upgraded successfully
Nvidia gtx 1060 6gb , with 580xx drivers installed successfully and working ( checkwith with nvidia-smi, modinfo nvidia etc . Double checked and verified by LLMs)

There are many AI features added each update. Are they all for copilot

So basically, the question stems from each update for the past few months for VS code, i keep seeing AI agent feature this AI feature added that. This includes many things like opening up of APIS and presumably deeper integration of AI overall in VS code.

So, my question is , is this all for copilot, which im sorry to offend anyone i woudnt touch with a 10 foot pole. Are they just blatantly locking in VS CODE to their own products by perhaps not opening up these new features / APIs or whatever to neutral harnesses?

Obviously adding and integrating AI feature, support and making it first class is a welcome step and neccessary now, but doing it ONLY for copilot is shooting everyone elses foots with a gun right?

Some things about 5.6 on ChatGpt Mobile app

So happy new model first of all
I noticed some things. We have now 2 modes : Chat and work

In chat section, is anyone else ONLY getting 5.6 sol and no 5.6 terra and luna?

Secondly, i for one , think that moving the model selection to the + icon and then selecting intelligence is very non obvious and not good. it doesnt feel natural at all unlike the previous model selection area on top. What are your thoughts on this.

What model is 5.6 Luna comparable to

We all know 5.6 sol is the frontier. 5.6 Terra is described by OpenAI as a cheaper and slightly better or worse (idk which one forgot) replacement of 5.5 at only half price. But what about LUNA

What do we compare LUNA to? is it like 5.6 mini? or 5.4 high or something. From what people have used it already, what are your reviews.

So should pubg now directly upgrade to UE6 and abandon UE5

UE5 wasnt the best performance. UE6 aims to fix alot of issues with UE5 and introduce new features like multithreaded performance, new scripting languages like Verse and alot more.

I think it has to do with timing , if the UE5 port is still a couple of years away... why not just start building for UE6 . We are in that timing window here. The question for pubg is that it should now be more beneficial for pubg to directly develop for ue6, since UE5 is bad in many aspects, and re release the game with UE6 in 2029 ish.

I want vs code to open codex / kilo code / open code extension secondary panel by defaul

So basically manually opening these extension panels( i put them on the right ) is getting cumbersome and this has been on mind to ask how to do. Everytime vs code opens in a new workspace or someplace new, copilot panel opens, which i dont want.

How to do this?

Module setup guide for clang/LLVM + vscode stack + cmake

I was searching the interweb for any actual guide on how to setup modules with import std and everything.

Sadly i couldn't find any in my reasonable 10 minutes of googling that guides and explains on all the steps, a tutorial per say ( im not / didnt using AI )

I added cmake at the end in the title because from what i understand this is needed always currently with modules?

Can anyone guide me here on what's needed to move into the future brrr.

We could see the remaining limits / quotas in the drop down previously. But that seems to have been removed . Leaving no easy and direct way to look and manage usage

Where are yall looking at that now?
