Point Adjustment with no more Availability?

I have a reservation at the Étoile - 17k/night.

Some of these days are now reading 15k/night with the point changes.

However, there's no more availability on a couple of these days so I can't just cancel and rebook.

Any shot a Rep could reprice this for me to save a few points? Or am I stuck due to availability restrictions?

Babymoon Destination?

Planning for this devaluation. We’re booking for May/June 2027.

We’re recently married from New Orleans and plan for this trip to be our hopeful Babymoon. (If not, that’s fine. We’ll enjoy it just as much)

We’re between Maui, Hawaii (Split at the Regency and Andaz) and Lisbon/Algarve Portugal (Regency & Masana)

In terms of saving points, Maui is the no brainer before the Deval. So we’re slightly leaning there. But we’re also drawn towards having a Portugal adventure before Kids. Maui would be a much easier future trip to manage with kids than Portugal.

Currently, I have a booking at the Regency and Andaz Maui set for May 2027 with SUA attached to each. Wondering if I should make the change today to Portugal.

Any thoughts? Open to all other suggestions too. Even All inclusive.

Which Hyatt properties have you found the most difficult to apply a SUA (Suite Upgrade Award)?

Andaz Maui, Andaz Costa Rica, and Park Hyatt Kyoto come to mind for me.

Curious what others have experienced.
