How to approach written + textbook knowledge as a student PPL?

I’m starting my PPL soon and am quite overwhelmed with the amount of stuff in my Pooleys textbooks. Does anyone have any tips on how to organise and structure learning beside doing one book and exam at a time? Should I expect to treat the subject like something in school and just study?

P.S do I organise my exams or does my flight school? I know I can organise them on the CAA portal but is my ground learning separate to my flying learning?

Lieutenant Colonel of JgB23 gets ready to cook up and relaxes during a summer exercise [1991]

I’ve been collecting for the past 3 years - the kit was complete today finally with the arrival of a few small bits. No FARB besides my underwear and socks - that’s acceptable, right?

Ask me anything!

Swiss army uniform 1980s question

I’m starting a Swiss group and looking for resources online but can’t for the life of me find:

What did milita men wear underneath their camouflage uniform? Was it the woolen uniform or just cotton underwear? I’ve seen some places saying they wore “work shirts” but I don’t know.

Help appreciated
