Buddy's out of Detroit invented the Detroit pan pizza...
I had never heard of them living 15 years in Cincinnati, but I love Jets for take-out, but I never really shopped at Meijer.
Bought there for $12.99
I made sure it looked golden before I pulled it out. I let it it sit in the pan for about 5 to 10 minutes before pulling out to cut to help retain it shape. I had the cheese and cut to early and the sides flattened out a little.
Amazing crust, great sauce, cheese is authentic Wisconsin Brick. Great hot and then both cold the next day and also reheated.
This makes Detroit Motor City look silly. Haven't tried Buscemi's Detroit yet, so I can't compare. I will say this is better than the Chicago deep dish frozens as well.
10/10 have bought four now. My go to thin is Home Run Inn for context there. Native Chicagoan.
