5lb weight gain in one week - water weight?

I've been on a pretty consistent diet, eating the same things each week. Boring as hell but I can do it and it works at least, no need to count as much since I already counted the first time. Mostly it's salad, veg, protein, with very little carbs. I've also been walking 2 hours a day.

I lost 2.5lb in a row for the first two weeks, then I gained half an lb, then gained 5lb in one week, making me half an lb heavier. This is at slimming world by the way. Is that water weight or something? Is it possible to gain 5lb in one week while on 1200 calories and walking a lot, just by water retention?

>!So you know how Elaine ran away from home to get out of an arranged marriage and joined the Rangers? What if she didn't do that? Couldn't she have just said no? It's not like her parents would take her to the church at knife point, but even if she was dragged up to the altar, no one could force her to say 'I do.', right?!<

>!Just thinking about it because she took an Oath that only lets her fight in self defense, then went off and joined a military organisation to get out of an arranged marriage... seems ill suited to her, I would've just kept on being a healer and taken a second healing class like water healing, not like anyone can make me do anything unless I somehow get myself enslaved, right? It's not like the only way to get out of it was to run away.!<

I'm a good way into book 2 of Beneath the Dragon Eye Moons and wondering about the system.

It seems like it is responsive to stuff like thinking of things, roleplaying, and nicknames. If it's this responsive, could you do something ridiculous like roleplaying FF14 as a child with the other kids, then picking Scion of the Seventh Dawn > Warrior of Light as a class at level up and become completely broken with the echo and blessing of light? Then pick Conjurer > WHM as your second for ridiculous heal throughput, mana regen, and air/earth attacks?

>!Near the end of the book I got to the part where she unlocked her third class. Elaine chose to merge her light and dark classes into a celestial class, and she picked up a fire mage class... but doesn't that leave her with only two classes when she should have three? Or does the celestial class take up two class 'slots' and the fire mage takes up one class 'slot'?!<

As a side note, just wondering but if it was you in that world, what kind of classes would you pick? >!I think I would want to be maximising my independence so I would take a healing class like her so I never need to worry about my health, then I'd be going into stealth/speed stuff so I can always avoid danger and never be turned into a slave or forced into a marriage or something, meaning I would be free to skill independently and just do healing work while travelling to buy stuff!<

Can't wait to see what's in book 2!
