First time i got a message for a rank reclaim due to a cheater. Didnt even realize i played against one and was very happy, just to find out i didnt get any rank reclaim because it happened in my placement games :/
Since season 1 Ive seen a lot of fresh accounts or even accounts not played on for multiple season getting placed in Master/GM right after their placements.
I play Open and Role queue both equally and feel like its more significant in Open queue.
Ive seen a lot of returning players who were diamond/low master before, suddenly being GM after 5 Seasons not playing the game ruining competitive completely. Even one player who was actively hard stuck in platinum in role queue the same season, doing his placements for the first time in open queue and suddenly being GM.
I feel like its partially incredible luck based if you get queued up with such a person, and it ruins the fun for me personally as this games usually end in a loss.
This issue obviously gets mostly resolved from gm2 upwards.
