Professional Year Skills Assessment

I was wondering if someone who may have gone through something similar could guide me. I wanted some clarification regarding the skills assessment you can obtain through the Professional Year program.

I’m currently in a situation where I was unable to secure an internship position that aligns with the skills assessment I want to pursue. Does the skills assessment need to align with the internship role?

Is something wrong with my orchid node?

I’ve had this orchid for a few months and I recently pruned it right above the node after it bloomed. However the node now looks like this, so I wanted to double check if something might be wrong or if I should prune it even more.
The plant looks healthy otherwise. I recently repotted it and water it every two weeks. I also spray some orchid spray on the leaves every month.
