Jacaranda (Los Angeles) $175 tasting menu for Dine LA. Worth it?

I just saw that Jacaranda is doing DineLA with a shorter tasting menu. I’ve been wanting to try the longer menu but it’s a bit out of my price range at the moment. I can do $175 but not $295. I’m weary about Dine LA experiences, so I’m wondering if anyone has tried this or if I should just save up for the longer menu since I saw that one includes duck.

Thoughts?
