Rn i literally can’t envision her going up on the block let alone getting evicted lol. She’s playing a really good game and i feel like Kamu, Haley, and Chuk will be solid shields for her for a while. I’d like to see the survivors face some pressure — who is most likely to target them? Maybe Mallory?
Sure it’s a diversion from “normal” Yeat, but I appreciate the experimentation way more than stagnation. We all know he’s still capable of his prior sounds, just look at DS. Purpose General, My Way, Face the Flame, Taller, Griddle all bangers. Geek Luv may be his worst ever song tho lowkey
I really feel like there’s so much groupthink surrounding this album. It is not nearly as bad as the constant hate would make you think. I still was expecting a lot more given the hype and album art etc, but I still think it’s a solid 7.5/10 album
Songs like Dangerous House, Went Wrong, fly nite, forever again etc are really cool to hear from yeat. I think he’s got more to deliver in this type of genre. Imagine an Alex G/Yeat song or something like that
I’m so excited for the new EP from Ken Carson “Cartunez” 🔥
I don’t really understand why Kyle from BB24 was dealt the hand he was for suspecting a potential Cookout alliance repeat. It happened the literal prior season, and while we can’t possibly know his deeper-seated thoughts on race/whether it was any motivation, I still don’t get how it was automatically taken as sheer racism. Imo it was a pretty fair idea to throw out, especially if you’re trying to look out for your own game. And I loved the Cookout alliance and what it stood for, I’m Black myself and appreciated the representation. I just always felt Kyle’s thoughts couldn’t have come from that malicious a place. He was very apologetic and even seemed a bit confused how it got construed. I thought it was unfair how everyone felt they had the grounds to like, lecture him. Also didn’t like how Michael basically weaponized it for his own gain
Idk I never really watch the feeds so lmk if I’m missing important context. Curious if anyone has thoughts on this?
I’ve seen it a couple times and thought maybe recency bias was carrying, but I have genuinely never felt the things I did while watching it. The writing (so many individual quotes that gave me chills), cinematography and quality, performances, score, the sheer scale of everything. I was truly blown away from start to finish. The effort put in by everyone involved was so palpable that it felt real. My favorite scene was the storm at sea. The direness of the situation and all the buildup to it, also I was sitting near those moving seats so I almost felt like I was desperately rowing with the crew lol. Also crazy to think how many real humans have faced a similar demise to that, I mean imagine being in that scenario
I’m not the biggest movie buff so maybe this isn’t saying much. Also worth noting that I haven’t yet read the book. But I’m curious if anyone else also has this ranked as their top movie ever? Especially those who have seen more of them. Let me know! Can’t stop thinking about this one, and I’m definitely going to check out some of Nolan’s other films. Also have Oppenheimer as one of my favs
Things are getting hard for me in life right now and I could use some simple kind words from someone. I’d just like to hear good news or nice quotes idk, something to pick me up. It feels like my responsibilities are piling up and my energy to handle them isn’t all there
We need TV Girl x Yeat
