Can anyone else in the crystal city/pentagon city area hear what seems to be a large demonstration of sorts going on right now?

I've been hearing someone talk on a loudspeaker and cheering for the past 30 minutes. Kind of sounds like its coming from near the airport or 14th st bridge area (or atleast from my balcony I can hear it from that direction lol). I tried looking things up to figure out what it could be but im not sure. Anyone know what it is?

Back in February I attended the FCPS job fair and was offered a position a few weeks later. My school let me know that the process to hear back from HR would be lengthy. I did hear from my school about 3 weeks ago and they said that HR should be reaching out soon.

I have still yet to hear anything and I have been in contact with multiple other candidates who accepted positions in fcps and are also still awaiting to hear anything from HR. I knew it would be long, but over 3 months is starting to make me worried.

Does anyone have any insight into why the hiring process is taking so long? Or is anyone else in the same boat? I have worked in other districts before (out of state) and never had an issue like this.

Just moved to the area late last year and I am looking to get my 2017 Subaru impreza an oil change and for someone to check out the exhaust.

does anyone have shops they recommend? in particular ones near the metro so i can take the train home if i need to leave it for a while. thanks!
