Does anyone out there deal with very little sweating that puts them at constant risk of heat illness, and have you found any treatment that works?
I heard that Mayo Clinic could be an option. Shocked by how little doctors seem to be able to help. 😣
I’ve been working at my company for about 3 years. I was just offered a “promotion” with a title change to manager that I told my supervisor I’d wanted. However, a few things are off. The main issue is that the annual salary increase is no more than what I received last year, sans promotion, in merit increase. Essentially, I’d expect I would have gotten the same increase had I kept my old title and responsibilities. The other flag is that there was no new job description - the role essentially would stay the same as a default. However, when I pressed, I was told I could essentially write my new job description.
I’m frustrated that I am not being offered a true raise with this promotion and I’m not sure what to do. Part of me feels insulted and wants to decline altogether. Should I keep the title but tell them I’ve changed my mind about editing/expanding the job description without a true raise? How do I address this ambiguity? This has me feeling undervalued but with the current state of the job market I don’t want to make any rash decisions. TIA.
