Can anyone help me out with identifying problem?!

Can anyone help me out with identifying problem?!

I bought this home a few years ago and had a huge leak at the valve box with 2 zones recently. The leak was when zone 2 turned on, and would cause the valve box to overflow within 30 seconds... but the zone was still getting water flow.

I was able to find the main leak and fixed the ghetto rigged job someone had done years before I bought the house. While I was digging out the dirt to find the leak source I found a random clipped electrical wire coming through the dirt towards the valve box, and at this point zone 2 was still working even with the leak. I repaired the connection that had come loose, and that fixed the main leak....but now zone 2 doesn't get ANY water.

I dug a bit further out trying to find the source of the wire and then found a random white PVC pipe not connected to anything. I'm stumped because it wasn't even visible when I repaired the leaking line, and I didn't find any extra hose pieces or junctions in the box that could've come loose, unless the leak buried them and I just haven't found them yet. I still obviously have a leak somewhere else but I'll get to that after I get zone 2 working again.

So my questions are: Is this the white PVC the source feeding zone 2? And what could the random clipped electrical wire be since zone 2 was still working when I first found it hanging out of the dirt.

Before I fixed leak, when zone 2 still worked

This was the best waterproof mascara ever. No transfer to oily lids and held my curl. AND the comb applicator...the applicator was the best! It got all my double row lashes from root to tip. Been looking for something similar, especially the comb wand ever since and they've all disappointed me.
