First-time DM, how to help myself, and the players, get over potential anxiety and initial cringe factor?

One idea I had is to do some kind of ice breaker, you know, to break the tension - like maybe we all shout into our mics at once or something, lol.

I plan to be super upfront that I'm new to DMing, and to stress that, but I also worry that might add to potential anxiety/the initial cringe factor, tbh.

Where to get anarchist political writing published?

Title.

It's more an essay than a book, so it doesn't make sense to go to a radical publisher.

I guess I could put it on substack or similar, but I want people to actually be able to find it if they're looking for anarchist writing on the topic.

Any ideas or suggestions?

So far I've come up with:

If you diverge culture as House Dayne, you can call the resulting culture “Dawnman/men” - but not after the sword, though. Roleplay it as House Dayne trying to reconstruct the culture of the Empire of the Dawn, who they descend from according to popular fan theory/fanon.

When diverging culture as a Northman, Crannogman or even just an Old Gods follower of any culture- maybe call it “Songman/men” aftwr the Children of the Forest's name for themselves. Maybe roleplay it as claiming deeper connection to or even some ancestry from the Children of The Forest.

It kind of breaks my immersion when I start to spread a culture with an obviously regionally-tied name, so I'm trying to avoid that pitfall.
