This midterms will be my second time voting, I was not educated in this as I never got a decent education with parents focused on religion. My first time was hard I was underprepared and had no idea what I was doing but with how important midterms seems to be I want to be prepared and I want to research who I can vote for, please don’t ask me to vote blue no matter who I am democrat and will vote as such but I want to pick the best candidate who I think will do good. I can’t find much information on who is running and I’m not exactly sure all is being run for so advice needed!

I don’t understand what it means? Is it literally just where any choice a woman makes means it’s feminist because that is untrue cause that would make Erika Kirk a feminist, I just don’t understand. I thought feminism was about fight to have equal rights and trying to combat misogyny and fighting for bodily autonomy. I am young so I might be not understanding but I thought that was the main points of feminism?

Finally decided to commission art of my world I made as a teenager and the whole time it felt like the artist wasn’t listening at all, I wrote in heavy detail what I wanted and how the world looked I even threw in sketches and the actual architecture it was based on and still they kept asking for more details and sketches, it was frustrating but i wanted to trust them and i already paid half so I just wanted to see the end results. I did get a sketch earlier but now im wondering it it’s ai too.. well they asked for the rest of the payment because they were finishing so I gave it to them just to be sent a month later which is now, a ai “reference” of what the finished work will be. Huh??? I genuinely don’t understand how ai could make a reference like bruh just show me your final sketch? And the ai wasn’t accurate to what I described at all anyways!

Now I’m going to try and get some of my 500$ back cause I feel my trust broken and my time wasted.

I’m so sad, I got a commission to AVOID ai, I struggled with cai as a teen and I’m finally a year or two clean, I feel upset because originally I put this world in cai and once i got off from ai i rewrote everything that even slightly used for the ai rp’s just for someone else to put it ai I’m really sad and frustrated.

I’m probably gonna commission again after I change everything again so any tips to check legitimacy?

Ps they said that the final wouldn’t be ai but again why not just show me the sketch then why use ai? Plus I paid high because I was paying for multiple art pieces at once, the ai had it all in one piece with igloos in a jungle setting 😭 like bruh I wouldn’t be paying 500 for one piece of art wtf man and I have in in text so hopefully i can get them to refund for the fact it’s nothing like i asked for.

Update: i got the sketch of their rough draft.. they drew the example building not the detailed description i gave them it almost looks like a trace had they not sent a time lasp i paid for multiple art works and got my countries squished together in one drawing, i only paid that much because i commissioned multiple works.. lesson learned i guess.. 😭 i don’t even know anymore

I’m going to split this up into critiques of characters and overall story telling!

Overall story:
I’ve watched all 3 again and have come to the opinion that Tsu'tey’s death was unnecessary, in avatar WoW Jake leaves the clan to protect his family and gives the leader role to a new very unknown character that most likely we’ll never know much about atleast in the movies. Outside of the movie I believe they did so not have a white person lead na’vi or have a white savior? I’m not sure i can be wrong but that is what I heard regardless of if that’s true why not keep Tsu'tey if Jake was going to leave the leader role to someone else? Did they have WoW/FaA written when the first came out? Maybe it was only after the initial avatar did they think about this? I have not seen any comics or played the games only have I seen the movies and from that i honestly think keeping Tsu'tey would have been better or at the least visit him in the spirit world.

The ash people were under used. I really wanted a flash back and to see the pain and inner turmoil and just their feelings of utter betrayal by what the na’vi see as their grand mother and goddess instead it was compacted into a speech by Varrang. Don’t get me wrong it was good and it gave us a quick understandable backstory but to me they should have been the main big bad in this movie to flesh them out and because it’s literally called Fire and Ash.

For the overall series I think especially in WoW and FaA they should have just translated the tulkun since they are not talking in English but na’vi and in FaA they should have translated Varrang’s few actual na’vi spoken lines (by sub) just because i want to know lol. I’m not gonna lie some of spider’s lines suck, do Navi even have a word for bastard they don’t seem the type to care much about that anyways and in one of the movies he calls a ship gay.. *sighs* why? I doubt the na’vi care about others being gay and I doubt anyone would use it as slang or insult there, and in FaA he calls a human pendejo again how would he know this? And i doubt those scientists talk like this lol. His lines are cheesy and sometimes he’s just annoying putting aside my dislike for him aside his lines aren’t always that good it’s too human and idk but if he’s raised by those lab guys wouldn’t he be a little nerdy? And besides that his lines delivery can be stiff and sometimes it takes from the scenes imo. I also think FaA wasn’t paced well, it felt like they were compacting way too much in with little time for audience to digest it the biggest scenes like that to me is when Jake almost kills spider.. why not bring it up again or have spider be just a bit weary around him? Then Ronal’s death I hate when shows kill off pregnant women and go “we only needed the baby” like she should have lived imo AND no one even mourns her BUT Neytiri not her mate, not her daughter and not her son like just a tiny funeral scene for the dead PLEASE.

Also i really really REALLY wish that they expanded (in movie) on Sylwanin, such a wasted storyline line omg!!! Seeing a scene of Neytiri or Tsu'tey even a moment of her parents visiting her in the spirit world and just updating her and talking to her, letting us know she existed outside of cute scenes!!! And finally Ronal and Neytiri should’ve been friends imo, like they had so much in common i don’t fully understand why they didn’t grow on each other.
Jake should have been native. Imagine the story if we got in the first movie we got flashbacks of earth and the lack of life, animals and horrid mistreatment of natives who try to preserve earth and having him remember how his own family were erased and mistreated. Having that AND his love for Neytiri.

Now for characters:

Ronal: I still think that during the fight she should have stayed back she didn’t need to die but she’s my favorite character so maybe I’m coping lol. I get that she wants to fight but you’re in active labor it isn’t the time.

Jake: still needed to have flash backs showing why turuk makto was dangerous. He really should have visited Tsu’tey and confined in him.

Neytiri: still not much to say but why did she use the metal arrow other than for plot? Still felt like the dilemma she had was solved quick.

Mo’at: I still wish they didn’t delete the goodbye scene and I still wish they told her neteyam died it seemed brushed off.

Spider: still don’t like him.

Same with the clan from the game that travel, like in general would a travel clan have a tsahik or follow the one of the tribe they visit? I don’t think the wind travelers leaders mate is tsahik but I could be wrong.

Like would the box remain unowned? Or would it randomly choose?

In the movies it seems like instant death, a painful one tho. But is it also spiritual death? Technically speaking wouldn’t the consciousness they already uploaded still be in tact? I’ve only seen the movies so idk anything about the comics. Can a na’vi live if it is cut and why haven’t humans started doing this to threaten them? Not to be morbid but the humans aren’t good here.

They don’t even have ikran why does it matter to them? Wouldn’t they have their own version?

Just watched it and I like it but I REALLY wish they had the drama string out a little more, I feel like we waited so long for Marinette to get akumatized for it to last only a couple minutes not to mention i wish there was just a bit more of build up. I wish we got to see Heartfixer going after Ayla too since it obviously broke her heart thinking her boyfriend was cheating with her literal bff, i just wish the episode had two parts? Or even allowing a longer episode idk it just felt rushed to me especially for an episode us fans have been waiting years for. Also why are the new bullies obsessed with breaking up couples like what’s the motive? To just be jerks?

Am I just complaining because I really feel like it was rushed.
