So i started playing it not too long ago, i came across infected ore, it tells me to rinse it but i dont know what to do, i tried placing it under water, use a shear but it doesnt work

I want to put Daisho in my parry sword, in the mod's description it says that Daisho is incompatible with Riposte and Thrusting, my parry sword only has Parry 3, Deflection 3 and Mending, is there an unlisted change that makes Daisho incompatible with something my sword has?
