Purchase Reccomendation

I’m about to start college and need a new laptop for notes, but I also want something that I can play some steam story games on and that’s relatively strong. I’ve had my eye on the silver (older) xps 14 with the 4050 but I’m not sure if it’s worth paying the 300 extra for and if I should just stick with the intel arc graphics. Furthermore, I’m not sure if moving up to the new model is worth paying the higher price and if the new model is still capable to run games and whatnot at a similar strength. If anyone can help me with my decision that would be much appreciated (also looking to have the OLED display)

Cold War crashes

Every time I play call of duty black ops cold war, after around 10-15 minutes, my game just randomly shuts off. it does not crash or freeze beforehand or lag, but rather just simply closes out of nowhere. I've tried everything from reinstalling the game, the launhcer, deleting my player files, closing ALL background apps, unplugging aux devices, launching with directx11, checking drivers, and everything else that's commonly recommended.

RTX 2060 super

ryzen 7 3800x

asus tuf x570

I usually play on ultra settings and don't face lag spikes or FPS crashes. I disable ray tracing and vsync.
