We are stuck in the quest to kill a Corrupted Elite, we played so many levels, made it even to level 7. No sign yet of the boss encounter, is he randomized? Is there a way to know when or what Level? Please help.

I have my right ear at 30 mm, I can pass it with no issues, but since I sleep on that side without my gauges it compresses it and I have to wear a 28 a few minutes, get it like uncompressed and then I can pass the 30 mm again. Anybody know a way to just maintaing the 30 mm without having to do this circus all the time? My other ear is taking is time and I am just letting it be, its at like 12 mm and its completely fine to sleep with them.
