Need some advice!

So if I stay in my bedroom then I’m limited on space. I can move to my guest bedroom upstairs but I would prefer to stay in mine since that’s where I have a stand alone AC to keep it super cool during the hot gaming times. But since I upgraded to a conspit ARES 12 I do want to either go with a stand or a cockpit. What would your guys recommendations be?

Pics of the old and first pic is the new of course.

I made my decision

I recently upgraded from a Moza R5 and originally planned on buying Simagic. I spent probably 5–7 hours a day for several days researching, reading Reddit threads, watching reviews, and talking directly with both Conspit and Simagic before finally making a decision.

In the end, I went with the Conspit Ares 12 Nm paired with the CPP Apex pedals, and honestly… the difference is night and day.

I mainly drive rally, so I’m not even using the full 12 Nm yet, and I’ve only had a few hours behind the wheel before leaving town for the holidays. Even with that limited time, I’m seriously impressed.

A few things that stood out:

The steering wheel feels fantastic in the hands.
The force feedback has so much more detail than what I was used to. You can feel a lot more of what the car is doing.

The Conspit software has been surprisingly good. Every setting has detailed explanations, which made dialing everything in much less intimidating.

One thing I wasn’t sure about at first was the hydraulic brake pedal. Coming from the Moza SRP pedals, it felt very different initially. After spending some time with it though, I completely get the hype. The jump to a load-cell/hydraulic brake is incredible and gives you so much more confidence once you start getting used to it.

The other thing that really helped me make my decision was Conspit’s customer support. I can’t really compare it to Moza or Simagic since I haven’t owned those products, but every time I’ve reached out—whether through Discord or email—I’ve gotten a response anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. That level of communication gave me a lot of confidence before I even placed my order.

Overall, I know Conspit isn’t as common as some of the bigger brands, but so far I’m really happy with the decision. I’m looking forward to putting a lot more hours on it once I’m back home.

If anyone has questions about the Ares or the CPP Apex pedals, especially for rally, I’d be happy to answer what I can.

I ordered a sim magic bundle...

Well i've had a moza R5 for about half a year if not more and i finally bit the bullet and am getting into the sim magic eco...

I was questioning it but after seeing so many reviews i decided that it would be more beneficial then buying more moza wheels and using the same SRP pedals to just get the full sim magic bundle which comes with the nice pedals. Plus i will then save to purchase an Alu cockpit but for now i think i will love it.

I wanted to do fanatec but have seen nothing but horrible reviews.. I really hope i made the right choice...

Need some suggestions please!

So i am using a moza R5 and it's mounted to my desk with an ultrawide. I am wanting to upgrade and i thought of going to sim magic and getting the base stuff but it also looks like it would be smarter to buy a bigger moza wheel and get the hand brake and also maybe a new shifter. I would prefer one that could be both h shifter and sequential and sadly the moza shifter seems to had a lot of bad reviews.

I also am looking at possibly doing a cockpit or a stand at least because i heard today it's better to have a solid rig vs the pedals floating around the carpet etc while doing rally. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm 6'3 290 lbs. I want something that i can mount the moza ebrake and maybe a new shifter to. also my moza r5 that can handle the FFB even though im not running an insane amount of FFB either.

hey guys! question about wheels

What setups are you guys running? I had a R5 and got rid of it and just couldn't do it so i bought the bundle again lol but now im debating do i go to sim magic? the beginner bundle area. I have been LOVING rally and have finally got into RBR and all the others EA WRC. Dirt, and AC Rally. So just curious what everyone uses and what is your opinion on customer support, shipping, and also the quality. Or do i just upgrade my wheel from the ES base wheel to one of the other ones
