Hello Fragrance Friends. Today will be my last post testing out/reviewing fragrances because some people are quite mean and rude and I just don’t have it in me to deal with that 🥲

Yesterday’s fragrance: Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede. I didn’t know how to feel about it at first. As the day went by I just felt like the scent was kind of harsh. Like I was being pricked in my nose with herbaceous flowers? Funnily enough, when my husband hugged me yesterday, he said “why do you smell spicy?” I legitimately almost passed out from laughing. 😂 Overall, I am giving this one a 2/5, however I still may try it again…for science.

I really did enjoy this series. Thank you for following along, sharing your thoughts and suggestions, and sharing your own stories. As my baby approaches their second surgery this year this was a nice little distraction to look forward to each day and calm some of my anxiety. I will go back to lurking and maybe occasionally commenting now 😅 I hope you all have a great day ☺️

Good day my fragrance friends! Today I am wearing Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede. I purchased a sample set because some of the fragrances intrigued me. I will say, I already am not liking this one, but sometimes things change!

Yesterday’s fragrance: Burberry Goddess. When I tested this one on a card I thought it smelled really good. I sprayed it on myself and I was not so sure. Then throughout the day I liked it a little bit. The smell is nice, but I’m not sure I really like it on me. I’ve smelled it on other people before and it’s always been pretty good. It also may have irritated my throat yesterday 😅 Overall, the jury is out on this one so I’ll probably try it again to really see how I feel. My husband didn’t work yesterday so I got hugs before and after using the fragrance. We are back to no reaction 😂 Overall, I am giving this one a 2.5/5, but I am noting to try it again for sure.

Well, well, well my fragrance friends have I got an update for you. If you’ve stayed tuned this long, thank you! Today I am wearing Burberry Goddess. This is yet another fragrance that I have a sample of from my Mother’s Day haul. So far it’s not bad, but I shall reserve my judgement after wearing for a while!

Yesterday’s fragrance: Clean Reserve Whipped Cherry. I sprayed this on a card to test and really, really enjoyed it. I sprayed it on myself and thought it was great. I don’t get really any cherry from this so if you are looking for that, this might not be it. I get something creamy, vanilla, possibly a tiny bit of something nutty, and a LOT of sweetness. I smelled this all day and all night on myself. I absolutely love this one! I could really make this my everyday scent. Now for why we are all really here. My husband actually commented on this one! TWICE! During our welcome home hug he said “oh that’s new?” I told him yes and he said nothing else 😬 so I wasn’t sure if he liked it, lol. Then while laying down for bed he says “I can still smell that. I like it” And that, my fragrance friends, is going to bring the whipped Cherry to a 5/5 for me, which I didn’t think I’d be giving out all Willy nilly. But my husband likes it and I love it, so here we are! I 100% have to size up this one.

I’m still testing more so I think I’ll keep going - at least a few more days. I hope you all have an awesome day ☺️

Hello my fragrance friends! Today I am wearing Clean Reserve Whipped Cherry. This is another that I have a sample of from my Mother’s Day haul. I sprayed it on the card to test and thought it was pretty darn good and wanted to give it a go for today!

Yesterday’s fragrance: Kayali Fleur Majesty Rose Royale. I haven’t found a lot of rose scents that I like, but this one is pretty good to me. It started as a rosy bouquet then sweetened up a bit. I also feel like I get a little bit of juicy fruit which I love! Another good spring and summer scent. I did reapply later I the day. I am sure most of you have guessed this, but my husband had no reaction again 🤣 One of you gave me some great advice to maybe go a day without perfume or put something jarring on. I am considering that to wake his senses up! Overall, the Kayali was a 3.5/5 for me.

Today I am wearing Kayali Fleur Majesty Rose Royale. I got this one a month or two ago after loving it sooooo much in the store. I still really like it!

Yesterday’s fragrance: Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Tiger Lily. It was pretty good at first. It opened up as a bright, fresh floral. It felt very fitting for a spring or summer scent. It made me want to go outside, sit on my patio, and have a cute little brunch with my best friend. As the day went on I also felt a slight creamy sweetness to it that made me absolutely love it! It lightly lingered most of the day, and at certain points I got a burst of the scent again. It was truly divine! Once again, my husband said nothing about it after our “honey, I’m home” hug and sniff. Dare I say, this one was a 4/5 for me. I’m considering getting a travel size of this one.

Today I am wearing Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Tiger Lily. I got this in a sample pack when I was choosing a few fragrances on Mother’s Day. First impressions are good so far!

Yesterday’s fragrance: Le Monde Gourmand Meil Bèbè. I did not like it at all at first. It reminded me of a lot of different strong perfumes from a church Sunday mixing together. Then, later it softened and got slightly sweet, but still did nothing for me. It did disappear around the afternoon so I did reapply, for science. My husband said nothing about it after our “Honey, I’m home” hug. Overall, I think this one was a 2/5 for me.

Today I am wearing Le Monde Gourmand Miel Bèbè. I bought on of their other fragrances randomly and fell in love and decided to get a set to try a few more. I’m already not a fan of this one 😅

Yesterday’s fragrance: Phlur Missing Person. I really liked it when testing it. Wearing it made me not like it quite as much. My husband smelled it when he hugged me and said “oh…” but not the happy or excited “oh” this was a bad “oh.” So good news, it was noticeable. Bad news, it’s not a keeper for me 🥲

I started this year with like 8 perfumes. Then I found a perfume I had been looking for, for like 25 years, and the search made me want more perfumes!!!

Between my mom and myself (mostly my mom) I now probably have over 100 fragrances (and my mom has more for me 😅).

I know I need to start downsizing (already) so I have been wearing a perfume each day, even just around the house, to really soak in how i feel about each one. An idea I had to help is to see which ones my husband likes too. He often tells me something like “you smell nice” or “ooooo is this new” which gave me the idea.

Soooooo…I am planning on wearing a new perfume each day until my husband comments something on it. Those he seems to really enjoy will definitely be in the “keep” pile.

Today is Phlur Missing Person: I think it’s a 3.8/5. I like it and it reminds me of something my mom wore maybe in the 90s-00s, which I think makes me like it more.

I went to Sephora yesterday and treated myself (or rather my husband treated me) to a few new fragrances! I got a few travel sizes of the ones I liked in store. I realized I got the D & G Devotion but I thought it was the MyDevotion 🤦🏽‍♀️ Either way, I’m really excited to live with these fragrances for a little while. Today I am wearing Marc Jacob’s Daisy Wild and so far I really like it still.

Are there any here that you like?! Any ones that you suggest I try in the future?
