6 weeks rule postpartum

That whole small part of Luke and Danny laughing at the 6 week rule to sex is a bit funny to me coming from a very loving young marriage. My husband and I tried hard not to do anything during that 6 week mark, but we genuinely could keep our hands off each other. I understand why fans would roll their eyes at them, which is what I remember from seeing Janet sigh and look at Jason like “can you believe them???” I get that they hate Danny and people hate both Luke and Daniel, but there are husbands out there that genuinely still want to pounce on their wives as much as the wife wants it 😭😭😭 it’s icky coming from them, but let’s not shame every couple that does things during those 6+ weeks after postpartum, or DURING, sometimes the love and intimacy is still there for other couples, hate those two without putting down the happy marriages

Detangling

After using flaxseed + chia seed gel as a styler, all I needed was water to activate the gel into a pre pop to detangle for wash day and my hair was really matted from sleeping without a bonnet. Detangling took me 25 minutes on my afro

Flaxseed + chia seed Gel

I recently did a post on my mini box braids that I’ve had for 2 weeks and I took them out yesterday. I’ve been outside in the humidity and with the glycerin in my hair, my Afro formed perfectly. It’s very moisturized, all I did was unbraid them one by one gently, and picked it out. Tomorrow is wash day so I made a pre poo of flaxseeds and chia seeds to detangle my Afro before washing.

In the first photo, I just put the gel on my bangs to see what it was look like as just a styler and the curls hold up so well. It keeps its shape, no matter how much I run my fingers through it. It’s a very lightweight gel with a good hold. Highly recommend for people who are cutting back on products at stores and trying to do a more natural gel that you can make at home easily.

Flaxseeds are in Omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin E, and B vitamins, it nourishes the scalp and strengthens strands from root to tip. Chia seeds are a powerful superfood for hair, offering deep hydration and strength through rich concentrations of plant protein, omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, and antioxidants. You can get both at your grocery stores, hopefully in bulk too.

All I did was use a 24oz mason jar, microwaved filtered water for 2 minutes and used 1/2 cup of flaxseeds and 1/4 of chia seeds. Let it sit in room temperature for 2 hours, but stir every 20 minutes to check the consistency, it should get thick the more you mix and then strain the gel into a container you can store in the fridge for a week.
