A question for women: How hard are periods and do you think women are entitled to sitting at home after marriage? And what do you think of the phrase "Be a man and provide financially and emotionally"

I get women staying at home when there is pregnancy and babies involved, so for the rest of that convo dont think about that scenario cuz im talking about women who say they deserve to sit at home after marriage in general

ppl say here that periods are unbearable, and therefore, women deserve to stay at home after marriage. I personally, dont find such a mindset attractive in a partner. I find ambition attractive (ambition in general not just career wise) and a reason for marriage is also support. Why would i marry to take another person's responsibility on top of mine and our kids, that sounds like the opposite of support. I have seen alot of women that are career oriented and want to be doctors and stuff and study hard and work hard. Women that are ambitious and are happy to work.

Whats with this double standards? If anyone hears a man say that they deserve to sit at home after marriage (no matter how shitty or how hard his job is) they will be called beghairat by both genders instantly, but for women they are entitled to sit at home? Are periods seriously this much unbearable that it makes women entitled to sit at home? And what do you think of the phrase "Be a man and provide financially and emotionally"

AGAIN I DONT MEAN WHEN THERE IS PREGNENCY OR BABIES INVOVLED
