So, after wanting it and dreaming about it and looking into it for long months, i took the plunge and got my vertical labret (yay!), however, as yall can see here, it is a tad bit crooked (not yay…).
I’ve gotten a lot of mixed reviews from the people around me as to how noticeable it is, and i am myself can be a bit of a perfectionist at times. Basically i want to know, exactly how noticeable is it, and is it worth getting stabbed through a lip a second time? Thanks!
Factors to consider, it hurt like an 8 out of 10 for me the first time, and it was a bomboclat $100 dollars…
*Jewelry is body grade titanium, curved barbell, internally threaded 16g(?), pierced almost exactly 48 hours ago, clean a couple times a day with sterile wound wash (mostly after eating), no incidents.
Sadly i do not believe it is the swelling because it looked like this right after piercing it. I told my piercer but he said it looked like that bc of the curve of the curved barbell. I didn’t believe him but did not want to argue further.
