I've been wanting to lucid dream about The Backrooms for some time now, because it's such an interesting and thrilling place to explore that always translates great to dream logic.

Last night, it was in a mall... I think? There was no noclip to get in, just a wide open lack of a storefront. Instead of the wallpaper and carpet, it was made from those kind of foam-stuffed walls like you get at a soft play, still yellow. It looked like a smaller version of the backrooms at first glance, but there were less noticeable extra paths, like a green area that started with a slope down.

The first time I went in was on my own, at some point I took my sister and we ran tf out of there getting chased by an entity. Then I took the rest of my family to show them, I went down the green slope, and there were LOTS of entities. Terrifying. At some point we realised the entities looked goofy as hell, like something out of Spore, but it still felt so scary.

That night I was thinking heavily about the backrooms and maybe having a dream about them. The crazy part is I was up on my tablet until 3AM, which normally absolutely slaughters your chances. I could make "conscious" choices but I still wasn't aware I was dreaming, and it wasn't exactly the backrooms, so I have a long way to go.
