Laz-y-Boy Lakeside 4 seater Curved Recliner

Hi All,

I'm a person of modest means, but been looking to get a really nice family sofa for my parents who are starting to become elderly. we are in the UK.

After much research I settled on this one, but before I pull the trigger wanted to get your thoughts and suggestions on any equivalents I should consider within the same price range (£3450 + £129 delivery, less £200 managers discount). As per screenshot black leather, 4 seater curved sofa with power recline, headrest, lumber and tilt.

This would be a special purchase for us and I didn't want to screw it up. Appreciate any thoughts/recommendations.

Started of planning to spend £1500 on a reasonable sofa but things escalated the more I looked into it.

Anyone used Career Smarter?

Has anyone used Career Smarter for PRINCE2? trying to decide between paying £995 with Career Smarter or £1122 with Mplaza.

CAREER SMARTER

https://courses.careersmarter.com/bundles/prince2-foundation-and-practitioner

They are not on Accredited Training Operator list and when asking advised:

"Career Smarter is not listed directly on the PeopleCert Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) directory because we are an accredited reseller partner of ITonlinelearning, a PeopleCert Accredited Training Organisation.

As a result, you still receive the same official PeopleCert-accredited training, exam vouchers, and certification pathway, but at a more competitive price point through Career Smarter .

The PeopleCert directory lists Accredited Training Organisations directly, rather than their reseller partners, which is why Career Smarter does not appear on the ATO list."

MPLAZA

https://mplaza.training/

They are on accredited training operator (ATO) as a trading name of another company.

mplaza Foundation Package - £569 worth it

Hi All,

Just helping my nephew out. After looking around a bit for a PRINCE2 Foundation self study course, but with comprehensive materials and test simulator we've settled on:

https://mplaza.training/online-courses/prince2-foundation-v7/

Spoke to Aqsa Asmat at mplaza who kindly agreed to add a £20 discount to checkout reducing cost from £589 + £0 VAT to £569 + £0 VAT. They confirmed this is suitable for UK candidates etc.

Separately I also spoke to Matt Trigg of Zindiak who kindly offered 5% promo code for their course which is £380 + VAT = £456, so about £433.20 with 5% promo code for the UK version.

https://www.zindiak.co.uk/products/prince2%C2%AE-foundation-accredited-elearning-by-zindiak?variant=476847446101

I've heard good things about the mplaza test simulator from this subreddit which can be purchased for £114 alone.

Technically we could go £547 for Zendiak + mplaza test simulator, but at that point may as well just go £569, get it all from one place and extra tutorial videos.

Thoughts? Any other options we should consider? Just need Foundation at the moment.

Thanks for reading.

PRINCE2 Foundation Exam Simulator

Anyone know if this free exam simulator is comparable to the mplaza one which costs £114?

https://www.careersmarter.com/prince2-foundation-exam-questions/

For UK, atm can pickup Exam + eBook + basic resources only from. Zendiak for £380+VAT less 5% (emailed them SMS got discount code) = £433.20

https://www.zindiak.co.uk/products/prince2%C2%AE-foundation-accredited-elearning-by-zindiak?srsltid=AfmBOor5gxXSWrnn5UHnjGBoJDiCH6dikTsoJcnNq5rgwrVq0knTSgwg&variant=47684744610123

and then use above simulator for free or pay £114 for mplaza one to bring total to £547.20

Alternatively going direct to mplaza for the course looking at £599 less £20 discount = £579 Inc VAT

https://mplaza.training/online-courses/prince2-foundation-v7/

Any advice would be appreciated. Researching for my nephew who is about to graduate uni.

Swiss Arabian: Musk 07 - The Real MVP

(Not to be confused with Musk 01)

As per my previous post there are 3 musks in the Swiss Arabian heritage line: Musk 01, Musk 07, Musk 74.

Musk 07 is not talked about as much but for me is an absolute hidden gem and I would feel much more comfortable recommending this over Musk 01.

Does it lean feminine? Yes most definitely.

Can a guy rock this? Yes all day every day, whether it be straight up or as something to layer with another fragrance.

This is an elegant, really well blended scent which has a mixture of soft fruits, soft musk (soapy clean vibes done right) and florals.

The musk is absolutely spot on (doesn't feel middle eastern or animalic in any way whatsoever) and makes this fragrance a lot more blind buy safe for western audiences than Musk 01.

The fruit and florals add depth and round out the fragrance very nicely making it suitable for pretty much any occasion. I can see myself rocking this in both casual clothes outdoors and well as in shirt and tie in an office environment.

Top Notes: Pomegranate, Blackcurrant

Middle Notes: Rose, Lily of the valley

Base Notes: Patchouli, Musk

Performance is good, on par with others in heritage line sitting close in projection with 8+ hours of longevity. For me even just doing 2 sprays on clothes, I was picking up on this the next day.

If you want those clean slightly soapy vibes with a touch of vibrant fruit and florals, this is one worth checking out.

Swiss Arabian: Musk 01 - Glazed Hard

There are 3 different Musks in the Swiss Arabian Lineup which look almost identical: Musk 01, Musk 07, Musk 74

Out of the three, Musk 01 has gotten a lot of hype online. In fact there was only one influencer that I came across so far that gave me pause for concern before picking this one up.

On paper it seems like an absolute win being a combination of citruses, florals and musk.

Performance is also on par with most of the heritage line with 8+ hours in longevity and a solid scent bubble.

However...

In reality for me this is way too heavy on the Musk. Furthermore to me it's not the pleasant soapy kind, but the middle eastern musk which is somewhat overpowering. The drydown is better as the citruses push through, but overall I just get lemon cleaner + almost animalic middle eastern musk vibes.

I did a side by side comparison with Al Haramain's Aquai Dubai (which for me also gives lemon cleaner vibes) and Musk 01 is pretty much the same thing, but with a strong middle eastern musk added to the mix.

This is definitely not blind buy safe in my opinion so if you are considering it I highly recommend picking up a decant first. As much as I wanted to like this one (as well as Aquai Dubai) both are a pass from me.
