Anyone gone from Zepbound to Wegovy pill?

Hello all! I've seen posts of others going from the pill to the shots, but has anyone done the opposite? I did talk with my doctor this week about all of this, and I'm just waiting for a new Prior Auth to come through to fill the new prescription, so I'm not looking for any medical advice. Just wondering if anyone else has switched from the shots to the pills, and what your experience was? I feel like I've mostly seen negative stories, but I also know how the internet works, and people are much more likely to share the bad over the good.

Long story, short...I've been on Zepbound for around 2 years. Good experience for the first year, and rocky for the second (largely due to increased life stressors). I know I need to stay on a GLP-1 for the metabolic benefits I get from it, but the shots are giving me way too much anxiety now, and I can no longer tolerate the spikes and drops each week. Also, cost will soon be an issue when my insurance stops covering it in a couple of months anyway, so the pills would be slightly more affordable out of pocket.

My goal is mostly to maintain the metabolic benefits, so I plan to be on the lowest dose that works (hopefully the actual lowest dose). I was able to stay pretty low on Zepbound and was on either 2.5mg or 5mg for my whole time on it.

FWIW, we decided on the Wegovy pill over Foundayo since my current insurance covers Wegovy but hasn't added Foundayo to its formulary yet. We decided I should start with the one that will cost me less, even if it's only for 2 months. That way, I'm not out of pocket more than I need to be if I can't tolerate it.

WWYD? Recent layoff - pay off loans w/ severance or not?

My partner recently was laid off from a job in tech. That industry is a mess and they're super burned out and hope to change careers, but it will take time to figure that out and actually start bringing in money (or determine that it's not possible, and find a new tech job). We have some savings and their severance, and my salary, but it's much lower than theirs was, and we can't make ends meet on just my income for the long term.

We have a couple of outstanding debts we're considering paying off: a credit card, and an auto loan.

If we don't pay off either debt, and we stick to the current budget and use only my salary and savings, we have about 18 months of runway for them to figure things out. If we pay off the debts, we will have about 12 months (and will have saved $2500 at least in interest).

Other tidbits: we're late 40's, no kids. We have a mortgage that's reasonable for our area and a very low interest rate and 10 years left till it's paid off. My job is pretty safe, and I cover our health insurance. My ability to earn more is limited since I'm pretty capped out in my field where I am and I really can't leave due to the benefits (both health insurance and retirement benefits).

So I'm not sure which is better...pay off the car but have less runway for my partner to figure something out, or keep things as-is to give them more time, but it costs us more in the long run. They're really torn about it too. The practical part of me says pay off what we can now and save the interest and that a year is still a long time to make the change. But another part of me wants to give them as much space to figure things out as possible, and have less pressure on them, even if it costs us more in the long run, and that a year isn't really that long, so 18 months is better.

What would you all do?
