Vstar 1100 mirror

So I have a 01 vstar 1100 with a broken left hand mirror (clutch side) the bolt snapped and broke to the point it needs extracting. Problem is I don’t know if it’s standard or reverse thread, and Google has not helped..

Anyone had to remove/replace/extract mirrors? Any help is appreciated.

Pictures attached. Been at it for about an hour and what’s left of the bolt is just shearing.

*edit*

I have an extractor bit set but it’s supposedly standard thread only. Don’t want to drill and tap and make this worse.

I recently came across MECP and since I’ll be going E in the med field I figured it wouldn’t hurt to apply when eligible.

I currently have a lot of college credits, I know the program is Nursing focused and wants you to get your BSN is 36 months. My question is if I can fit my current focus into my grad plan when going to leadership, what are the odds of them saying no?

I’ve seen that it really comes down to how well you’re known and what you’re known for. Also that as long as you present a grad plan that gets your BSN in the time limit they don’t care what else you do.

Anyone have experience in MECP as a dual major?

For context I have zero gen ed classes left and the majority of my current majors classes done. I may finish school online before applying but i don’t know if that’d hurt, one of my dream schools is eligible so I don’t want to hurt my chances of getting into the program and attending one of dream schools.

Metric Stunt Build

I’m relatively new to bikes, want a cruiser but want to stunt too.

My top candidate for a metric cruiser is an older Shadow 1100 (yes I know there’d be A LOT of extra work). If I can find a Yamaha Bolt I’ll probably get that because of the better aftermarket.

I may be able to find a decent sportster 1200 or dyna (one popped up for 3k for 3 hrs) but anytime they get listed on fb they’re gone in a day.

I’ll primarily be cruising I just want something that can be thrown around. I’m down to take a grinder and use a welder, just curious if anyone has experience with the shadow.

I’ll probably be getting an Amazon grom to be my main beater to learn as much on and just enjoy.

Has anyone retrofitted this fairing on a bolt? I'll be picking up a 19' r-spec in a few weeks and want to put a fairing on it asap. I'm aware custom work will need to be put in however, I was told that these fairings don't usually require much aside from a Dremel (hence me trying to find a relatively inexpensive one.

Thanks in advance!

(also looking for advice on pipes, will be getting a V&H VO2 and Ivan's tune)
