Hypothetical scenario — if you could buy an apartment for life with an unlimited budget in any neighborhood which neighborhood would you choose (be as specific as possible), and which building?
In a hypothetical scenario, where you have an unlimited budget to purchase an apartment anywhere on the upper west side, what area of it and which apartment building would you choose?
Hi all, my baby is almost 6 weeks old (born at 34 weeks 6 days). Since she was born early I was instructed to triple feed, and my milk came in slowly and is still in a slight under supply (80-120ml per pump). She is now quite big at 10 pounds.
It also takes me quite a long time to empty via pumping, and usually the milk comes out in drops or a very light spray only if I’m massaging while pumping.
My baby had a painful latch at first, and lactation consultant said she sees a slight tongue tie. Recently, her latch has stopped hurting significantly. One ENT said no tongue tie especially because her tongue has good movement and she sucks well.
However, on weighted feeds my baby transfers very little in a long period of time (the most is a little over one ounce). She tends to take a long time between productive sucks/swallows, fall asleep quite quickly
or just suck not productively at some point.
I want to make sure I’m not missing a tongue tie or another issue that needs correction or a different approach.
I’d love to hear from others’ experience on troubleshooting basically whether the issue is with me (need to grow my supply more, my letdown is too slow) or could be with baby’s anatomy (like tongue tie) or baby just needs more time.
I’m frustrated because it feels like I’m spinning my wheels with cycles of unproductive breastfeeding attempts plus pumping plus bottle feeding and some formula.
