Why not provide all fuctions to all apps?

Happy to see recent improvements in platform overall;

Just one complaint that making me frustated is why all apps can not provide all functionality and i have to have 2 apps on phone and web platform to use all fuctions!!

- Want to roll over options contracts? I have to use questrade edge, cant do it from questrade app or web app

- Want to buy fractional share using qty or money? I have to use mobile app..cant do it from webapp

- Want to use flow? Need to use questrade app or web app, cant do it from questrade edge

- I am not using balance sheet but if i want to? Need questrade app cant do it in questrade edge app or web app

If you are in 1 platform at any given time, you cant do everything and you dont let us log in into 2 device at same time so i have to keep logging in!!

I get that questrade app is light app for easy UI and all that but why not giving all features in 1 app and make 2nd app simpleistic for whoever just want simple buy sell history features. Whats the point of making user switching between apps?

Questrade team

I can do much better vibe code than this.

Expecting replies from questrade team other than -

"Hi known_dare_3870

I'm sorry that you have experienced issues with your questrade pro button. Our team would like to look into this for you. I've sent you a private message to help you out."

At this point I'm not expecting you guys will care or try to solve my problem but at least show some creativity with trying to pretend that you care!

Thank you!

Is anyone else dealing with Questrade's incompetence or is it just me? QT plus issues, unauthorized fees, clue less reps and zero resolution

Long time Questrade customer here, completely fed up and looking for advice.

I subscribed to QT Plus in January. It never worked properly from the start — market data was not refreshing automatically. I contacted support countless times through chat, phone, and even Reddit. Always the same answer: server issue, we will look into it, do this and do that in your account and check in your account. Multiple complaints were filed on my behalf and not a single one was ever followed up on, i have xouple of reference# but there were many of them! Eventually it just fixed itself with no explanation.

Then I checked my transactions history recently and found USD $140+ in extra market data fees charged silently in May. No warning, no notification, nothing.

Contacted chat...no resolution..get a reply every 10-12 min after my reply...then told them to escalated to a manager..again nothing! Spent over an hour on the phone with a line manager who did not even know how QT Plus billing works. She told me Plus was only activated in April when I have receipts since January and i know its f'king activated as i'm using free journaling. She also kept insisting Questrade does not accept credit card for QT Plus payments but I am paying by credit card, so is my wife. Round and round for about an hour and then offered me CAD $20 rebate/fefund!!! She then asked me to email my QT Plus receipts as proof that i was really paying thru credit card... did that two weeks ago with a full explanation also with a formal complaint email. Also ignored. Still no reply.

At this point I am genuinely done trying to resolve this through their support. Has anyone been through something similar?

Is there an escalation path within Questrade that actually gets results?

Can I file a complaint with CIRO or any other regulatory body?

Any advice please

Indian passport surrender: What should I do before giving it up?

I am living in Canada and am about to apply for a surrender certificate.

Are there any important things I should or must do while I still hold my Indian passport that would make life easier later, compared to doing them with a foreign passport — or things that may not even be possible afterward? For example: updating banking details, PAN card, or anything else I should take care of.

I also have a savings account in India with some INR balance. Should I close it now, or is it fine to keep it open until I visit India next year?
