Cost to Have Mini Split System Installed

We just move and our garage was converted to a bonus room by the previous owner - just tiled floors and painted drywall. Plan on turning it into a man cave and wanted to add a mini split system to provide heating and cooling. I found some quality and reliable units for around $800-$1000 and curious what would the average cost be to have it installed.

My Problem With Any Star Wars Versus

There’s just too much knowledge outside the movies that needs to keep track of. I love Star Wars, but I admittedly do not have an encyclopedia of every character, their stances, or their feats. And there’s so much knowledge that goes so deep, but none of it is present in the films and needs to be read in this book, or that comic, which I never liked.

All the lightsaber forms - never once mentioned in the films, which really should have been since, you know, they’re essentially to Jedi training. Mace Windu’s bread and butter - Vapaad and Shatterpoint - needs to be read about. The infamous ROTS Obi-Wan v Anakin with Obi-Wan wins and therefore should mean he can beat Anakin, right? Well the novelization specifics Anakin was going on days with rest or food. That would have been a fine detail to add. Dooku’s legendary skill as a duelist is expanded on in the Clone Wars. Cere giving Vader all the business in Jedi Survivor is really only because Vader wasnt really trying… okay, wheres that from? Well, let’s compare that fight to Vader fights from a book/comic. The entire story of Maul, who is one of my favorite Star Wars villain, is built up in shows. ROTJ Luke’s skill is built up offscreen between ESB and ROTJ in a book or comic.

I know I know. Everything im complaining about can be answered by watching a specific show or reading a certain piece of literature. But thats my point. So much of the information is hidden behind required text and media.

We’re moving into a new house in South Jersey and my wife and I have different thoughts on how to fix the backyard

During inspection, a leaky pipe under the kitchen sink turned into a replaced main sewage line in the backyard. Luckily, the seller covered it. Unluckily, they left the yard like this. We thought of asking them to fix the yard, but the last two weeks have been so hectic with the seller we figured we’d just do it ourselves. My wife thinks we need a landscaper to come in and re-sod the area. I think with some TLC, we can do it ourselves, but this is my first time caring for a lawn since I was a teenager and my dad made me do all the yard work, so I wanted to ask more experienced people.

We’re in the process of trying to buy a home and stalled because of how ridiculously long GoodLeap is taking.

We emailed asssumptions asking to pay the $250 waiver fee. 4 days later, they ignored that and just outright denied us. Cool - our seller agreed to pay off the lease, they just need the payoff amount. It’s been almost a week and GoodLeap did not get back to them. In that time, the seller realized we got denied because she mistakenly kept asking for the waiver fee at the same time we asked, GoodLeap got confused and just denied us, so now seller wants us to try again for a definitive answer before payoff. So we did, and we’re right back to square one and GoodLeap still hasn’t respond! We’re all packed - me, my wife, and two daughters - and ready a week past our initially closing date and soon going to be two weeks, living out of boxes because GoodLeap is dragging their feet. And get this - the answer to everything is wait for assumptions to email because apparently the only way for anyone to get in contact with an entire department at this company is email.

Has anyone gone through this with GoodLeap? Would anyone happen to know what to do or a number we can call to escalate this? GoodLeap couldn’t even tell us if we can even still assume the loan through the $250 waiver since we were already denied based on their mistake!
