I can't believe that it's taken me this long to look to replace the OEM brake pedal on the LC GS. I need something like the GSA's so that I don't have to contort to actually brake while standing. What is the preferred replacement - GSA, SW Motech, something else?
I posted a while back about 3 tire choices. As expected, opinions varied and there wasn't a consensus. The overland outfit nearby warned me that they liked the KO3's but were having problems balancing them. I bought them from my local dealer on their recommendation. I've had plenty of experience with them and they do good work. But I'm pretty sure that I heard a weight come off on the drive home a couple of weeks ago. Sure enough, I was getting vibrations in the seat and the passenger seat was wobbling like crazy at freeway speeds. Yesterday, they rebalanced, and it's much better, but still a bit of vibrations. This is my first truck and I'm wondering if I'm just too sensitive to it, or it they really aren't quite balanced yet. Anyone else having problems with these tires?
Some health issues are driving me towards some different interests, so I'm thinking about selling the motorcycles and trying out dinghy racing. I'm in the mid-Atlantic (US) region so I think there should be plenty of opportunity. I have no racing experience. I would rate my technical experience at novice as well, but I can certainly rig and sail a boat. Where would you begin? And what class would you look for? Also, trying to say this without being a bit terminal, but is this sport dying? And if so, is it worth getting invested at this stage?
