I wanted something more colourful than RX-78-2, something from the other side of the war, etc and Gouf felt a bit more special than "just" a Zaku. I will still get a few Zakus as well in the future, and Efreets and Doms and Gelgoogs, but I have to start somewhere.
Both models are the revive versions, both are nice.
He is old, aching polybones, but I like him. Looks cool as well.
My first MG. Still not finished, but I already love him.
It's visibly dated model, some parts feel connected quite loosely and the use of polycaps is let's say interesting here.
But no matter, still great looking. These rx-78 models with some extra stuff are somehow so cool.
Like this one, rx-78f00, the E variant, the HMV variant, even all the rx-78-4/5/6/7 and FA-78-3, they are all nice. Still simple enough, but not too simple. Not overdesigned overdone or anything, just cool.
