How Fang Yuan will defeat Hei Lou Lan (theory)
My theory is that Fang Yuan will reveal to Giant Sun that Hei Lou Lan never respected him as her descendent by revealing that she betrayed him twice. Once when she was Fairy Black Moon as the one who betrayed her Northern Plainsmen by leading the Central Continent Gu Immortals to take down Imperial Court in FYs first life and also how she teamed up with FY to defeat Giant Suns will leading to Imperial Court falling AGAIN.
Since we know Giant Sun is very loving of his descendants this would be the ultimate betrayal to him and so in rage he might heavily restrict her from her growth or even kill Hei Lou Lan*
Either way Hei Lou Lan is at Giant Suns mercy and nothing would tarnish his image more than an unfilial descendent

You dont actually need to be in the Reverse Flow River to refine Perseverance Gu
The miniman proves it... this aggresively upscales the difficulty of refining it making it possibly one of the most difficult gus to refine ever.
