Not sure if this is the right sub, but still!

Bought this as 'untested', turns out they were telling the truth and it works! The image is not great as the cable I used was/is a massive POS, and the TV is Pal, whereas the machine is NTSC-J, but I don't care one bit, as this cost me £89! Which is insane considering working models are a lot more expensive.

Going to back it up, get it cleaned, inspect it and make sure everything functions, and then use it as it was intended. This is my absolute golden goose purchase, and I never thought I'd own one of these old beasties! :D

Sony Vaio VGC-M1 AIO

Here are some pictures of my most recent acquisition: It is a bit of a mystery to me right now as I still need to get into it, but it does have two RAM slots, a 1280x800 display, a Pentium 4 3.06Ghz, 512MB of RAM on one stick, and it's running Windows XP 32 Bit. Overall, I am incredibly pleased with this machine, and the speakers are incredible!

Sony Vaio VGC-M1 Sound Test :D

My newest find on the internet of things, and it's a pretty cool bit of kit! I found it completely by accident and was smitten the moment I saw it, so now it's here playing Canyon.mid.

My collection of Gameboys is complete! :D

I've been collecting, and modding, handhelds for a while now, and I finally have all of the ones I've been pining after! <3

A rather cool old machine, which is full of surprises! :D

Bought this after it had been on my watchlist for a long time, and I'm glad I did as it has some interesting stuff inside! The whole thing cost £45, and it seems to be in good order, with no bad caps, leaking or any other signs of damage. It is really dirty, but it's all honest dirt from years of use and/or sitting around.

HP Jornada 820! :D

This is an HP Jornada 820, and I am actually so pleased to have a working one of these, as they are insanely fragile little machines. This one will be getting some donor parts, but that can wait as I'm in no rush, and as mentioned, they are insanely fragile. These often command incredible prices, but I was lucky to find this, and one other, with the power cable, a boxed Ethernet PCMCIA card, and some other bits like a very proprietary cable, all for £68.

I have three of these now, one that just stopped working, and had a bad speaker, along with a bad hinge. Another which was included with this working one, which is similarly unresponsive with a damaged hinge. I also have the leather carry case for these as well, which is in excellent condition.

And massive props to the seller, who did the best packaging I've seen thus far.

Received this today, and I'm so happy with it! I'm still working on another CRT, but that will take time. I haven't changed anything in the settings yet, so it might look off (if it looks fine, just disregard my ramblings, heh) and this is definitely my absolute favourite CRT I've had to date! :D
