Thoughts on new Xtend Method?

This morning we all got an email about a new format launching in January 2027 - the Xtend Method Pilates Foundations Licensing Program. What do you think about this new format? Did you watch the video on Instagram with the creator?

Attending first Aqua Zumba class!

I’m attending an Aqua Zumba class for the first time tomorrow, and I’m really excited (because one of my friends is teaching it and it’s her first Aqua class too).

Any thoughts on how to prep as an attendee? Things people don’t normally think about?

Partner/Circle Dance Name?

I went line dancing back in college, and there was this partner dance done in a circle to “How Country Feels” by Randy Houser. I don’t know the name of the actual dance though. Anybody happen to know?

Party in Pink events

For the last few years I have heard of general Party in Pink events (when Zumba emails about setting them up each year) and have seen templates for them on the ClassBuzz app. But I have only seen one event each year in my area and haven’t heard much about these types of events otherwise. Did they used to be bigger/more popular?

Instructors should be students too

Last week I went to a Zumba/dance fitness class as a student for the first time in a little while, and it was a class I had been to before but not in a long time. And I had such a wonderful time. As instructors, I think it’s so important to be a student. If your schedule can’t allow for it regularly, then just every so often. I experienced this newly-invigorated joy from going to this class as a student, and it made me remember why I fell in love with Zumba 16 years ago. I love being an instructor and teaching every week, but dang, I love being a student too 🫶

Too Many ZumbaWear Drops

Is anyone else overwhelmed by how many ZumbaWear drops there have been so close together? I feel like the hype used to be higher when we didn’t get drops all the time. 🤷‍♀️

How often do you jam?

Jam sessions are some of the best ways to keep current on your skills and to refresh your playlist. How often do you take jam sessions?

For those who take them often, do you ever feel overwhelmed with choreos especially if you also use ZIN volume songs?

For those who rarely jam, what is the reason?
