how do you stay grounded and not imagine future with another person that's not your boyfriend yet?

I’ve heard it’s really common in women na gumawa yung brain natin ng imaginary future with the person you just met, lalo na kung crush mo or gusto mo.

how did you distract yourself from this? Probably any action that you did either mentally or physically

Girls, if you have been in a fun buddy set up and have confessed to your partner (male), how did they react?

Did the guy feel flattered, offended, embarrassed, or disrespected? Don’t forget to answer “why”.

Would you recommend to confess your feelings or never ever confess?

i feel useless nobody likes me i have no boyfriend im not attractive

I’m F20 I feel like I’m missing out a lot in life. I see my friends have their time of their life—going out, bar hops, so many events happening in their life, while me I stay at home because my parents for sure won’t allow me to be like that.

Every time I go out, my parents makes me feel as if I owe them big. I have to do something major in the house, or they can get angry at me because I had fun anyway. Do you know that feeling? It’s like you’re trapped inside a box.

When I was 16, I was forced to grow up and be independent. I got a scholarship to study at a prestigious school, I lived alone in a dormitory—where I had free will. I didn’t have to tell them I was leaving, going to a bar, buy this and that, eat at whatever time I feel hungry, do whatever I want whenever I want.

Now at college, I was forced to move to a different school where I didn’t have to stay at a dormitory. Which means I’m back home, I’m trapped again. I want to have fun, I’m only 20 years old once. For them they think I’m too young. For me, I think I’m missing out big time, I don’t do anything big for the past two years.

I’ve been trying to keep myself sane for the past few months. I watched videos on how do I improve myself, the way I think, the way I perceive myself, technically everything that I’m rambling about right now. I tried to apply it and nothing seems to change, I’m back at the same point.

I have friends, they’re somewhat similar to me, the only difference is that they’re stable. I’m not, I want to be more.

I know that not everyone will like me but I perceive myself as friendly, supportive, trustworthy, and a friend you can really depend on. But I guess some people are just looking for someone less. The same way works for guys nowadays—I think another factor is that I’m not attractive enough.

I’m not like every girls out there who’s attractive, can wear whatever they want. I’d like to think of myself as special, I’m quite attractive, I just have a limitation to wear the clothes that I want because of my underarm’s discoloration.

Technically, I’m sure that I would be the type of woman a mature man would want. But my types are kinda different from what a mature man would look like nowadays.

I just don’t get how world works. Why do I get treated this way :((

PS: I forgot to mention that I’m the eldest in the whole family. It sucks having all the responsibilities depend on you.
