Hi boss, how can I boost Tuesday sales?

Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate some advice from fellow restaurant owners.

We are closed on Mondays, and Tuesdays are consistently our slowest day. Our Tuesday sales are usually around $2,600, which is much lower than the rest of the week.(we own a big family restaurant, we need sales up to 3500 on the weekdays in order to make money)

I’m trying to figure out what kind of Tuesday special or promotion we could run to boost Tuesday sales without simply shifting customers away from our busier days (especially Friday and Saturday).

For those of you who have successfully increased traffic on slow days:

What specials have worked for you?

Did you do discounts, happy hour extensions, family deals, or something else?

How did you avoid cannibalizing sales from other days?

For some context, we’re a sushi restaurant, and also has hibachi entree

Any suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

How can I have more online orders?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for advice from experienced restaurant owners.

My father owns a family restaurant, and although our customers like our food, we are still struggling to make a profit.

Our staffing is:

- Tuesday–Thursday: 1 host, 2 servers, 1 bartender, and 1 food runner.

- Friday & Saturday nights: 3 servers, 1 bartender, and 2 food runners.

Our average daily sales are:

- Tuesday/Wednesday: around $2,500

- Other weekdays: around $3,000–$3,900

We don't get many takeout orders.

Our food quality is good, portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and we keep the restaurant very clean. Since we're a family business, we don't have much experience with marketing.

So far, we have been:

- Posting regularly on Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business.

- Encouraging customers to leave Google reviews.

Unfortunately, we haven't seen much improvement yet.

I'm thinking about focusing more on local neighborhood communities, but I'm not sure of the best way to do that. Also, I am thinking about doordash 35-5 promotion like this. But I am not sure will it work? I heard people loss money by doing the ads.

For owners who have successfully grown their restaurants, what marketing strategies worked best for you? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Boss! I need it help!

Hi Boss from each business

Recently, I received a three star review with no text from a man. He never purchase anything from our store, and I checked his history reviews, at the same time, he rated 3 stars to several others stores and 5 stars to gas station or supermarket. I reported to Google, but Google said it didn’t violate any policy. God help me!!! We tried so hard to get positive reviews, and we are welcome the reviews with suggestions so that we can improve. But the spam like reviews really ruin our efforts. I need help from each boss, what can I
