Never been on this sub, oleae let me know the story of this qusetion

How was this never made into a tv show?

I was just thinking about the sequel and how impressed i was when i first watched it, then it dawned on me that a TV show would have been almost too successful.

So...

I'm obviously not the first to think this, what's the whole saga been of trying to get a show? Was it voice actors? Studios? Did some great catastrophe sink the tv show and will some brave team come together to make at least a parody?

Exactly the type of update we needed

I can't thank you enough this was exactly what I was on about in a previous post, all the quality of life changes, and the spooky ass story full of kung fu treachery are a breath of fresh air. Thanks for making a whole dlc! Please keep up the great work, I'm sure the vast majority of us are looking forward to more.

It's great to have a reason to go back to bolivia

Wildlands resynched comunity workshop

Calling all guardians, i mean ghosts... Yeah ghosts.

Thats the preamble.

TLDR, CRASH. THE. HELLICOPTER.

combine elements from far cry into wildlands resyched/reloaded/ resurrected...

Grittier more narrative driven npc interactions and sub plots, psychedelic, survival, ANIMALS, guerilla, authentically mesoamerican, real villains, consequences, replayability, co-op, drop in multiplayer, a departure from the propagandtastic elements of GR and a commitment to what retained players, immersion, milsim, fidelity, weapon customisation out the wazoo, realistic (non airsoft) ballistics, takedowns, and movement, (non qtc, non cinematic, press x to punch, mash x to incapacitate, swap to triggers to drop groups, breach and clear, hijack and operate, drive through, dive bomb, bride jump, bridge break, fly under bridge, fall off train and climb it. Take the mcguffin and loose it in the mud, three red lazers and razor blades. craft salves and psychedelic cocktails, CIA betrayal, FEMALE + NON BINARY + DIVERSE CHARACTER CUSTOMISATION OPTIONS.

OK SO BARE WITH ME!

I am not a game dev, i have over 10,000 hours in fps games, i did not play a lot of battlefield but i love mgs. I would have Destiny or wildlands loaded and constantly on rotation.

I have sherpad a lot of wildlands, i have unlocked everything day one, i was disappointed with breakpoint leaving bolivia.

I felt that the tech bro drone enemy was by far the worst gameplay choice due to a kinda ok narrative choice made. i think it was too damn expensive to try tom clancy this into a marvel movie.

Ok, those are my opinions, for context, now let me accommodate the player base

Mods, for the love of god mod support for these games would have tripled the player base, just use the free labour and gift them merch or a credit... Stop making it weird for the community to be competent

Why market violent action games to 13 year olds? We have 25 year olds with jobs and credit cards in their parents house who will do free labour for a shoutout, use them before they unionise.

Ask them

Ask us

Not everyone's opinion is new or relevant but some few essays will be worth reading while a few hundred, FFFFFFFFIX THE DAMN CARS comments might scare you, just accept that not all common sense sounds like genius.

We love this damn game

We love elements of its sequel

We have explained in detail why

Now you have a 3.5million baseline to work with that will only grow with the decay of the few live services left. You have division, you have far cry, you have assassins creed.

Each and every one is grounded in realism and rich narrative storytelling that hinges on well written characters and a multicultural multi faith background of developers who dive so damn deep into world building you got away with a caveman game that was better than most box office movies.

Take the helicopter, take the CIA, take psychedelic ritual magic, crash them into a sweat ripping tear jerking tooth pulling fever dream of fangs, claws, broken branches glass and bones...

Crash the helicopter, cut off the radios, give the player character auditory hallucinations caused by high altitude sleep deprivation and psychedelic cacao overconsumption. I want to crouch walk through an outpost with grim reapers, ghosts and snakes pulsating on the walls as the terror of 150 coked up butchers haunts me because the CIA handler was covering up funding the contra with drug money...

How boring it was after hour 40 to not drink peyote soup and get dropped from a cliff by a condor

How can i care about mud camo when i know the thermals see in 8k... Drones mean mechanised desensitized, sterilized death...and hollywood means plastic surgery and big bills... Thats where breakpoint took me, and to do it near or about Aotearoa... Insulting as a start

Now once again this is my opinion alone and where things get really good is with how community works

Im now going to beg the reddit community of ghosts to hear my prayers and answer as authentically with their own hopes and dreams.

This is not the question of what gameplay elements you want retained, revived or introduced from wildlands but asking what made you keep playing GR, where do you see its place in your rotation of games, what influences does the entire idea draw from, what other gameplay experiences you have had that felt like they would shine in GR, and how can you see this IP lasting past 60 hours of great story and into the conversation of what core elements of GR need to be expressed for ot the be itself and how far given what we have seen from things like dunia, and unreal engine should we try push our rigs before we set them on fire.

We are looking down the scope at a wildlands remaster within three years built off the results of far cry and assassins creed

We learned from those games where the industry was headed and we made a resounding statement with our wallets about what we will, and won't stand for, we caught ourselves a brief moment within dopamine traps and grifts, to escape the world of pachinkofication and get back to real games, with real voice actors, real teams with real salaries doing actual art.

Wildlands is that oasis in the landfill

We should take responsibility and accountability for the hours sank into games and look at those numbers as what they are, irreplaceable, invaluable, first hand experience.

Without you, the player, these games are gifs, lifeless loops of frames that only take on any meaning when you choose to play and drive that narrative to an end.

Your opinions and observations are the most important thing these games have ever done, they were built to be played and for you to have an experience through playing them, if that experience isnt acknowledged these games don't exist, your first playthrough, is the game, not the years of development and not millions of hours of skill that went into it. Thats why this industry is so dangerous, stupid and risky, if you don't like the game, the studio has no amount of talent or good graces to reconcile this.

If you don't speak they won't listen and if they don't listen it will be shit, so speak up before the echo chamber gets louder than 8million voices
