How harmful are gluten free beers?

Always loved beer, recently found out that coeliacs aren’t really meant to drink gluten free beer!
I drink socially every now and again, but love a good beer sometimes. I never have reactions, do you know how harmful they are or how safe they are to drink? Does anyone here drink gf beer?

Straws containing gluten??

Recently went to a resturant and they informed me that the straws for the drink contained gluten??

I asked as they gave my friends straws but not me, I never even considered there could be gluten in straws!

Just very surprised! Does anyone know how common this is and also if its something I should worry about?

Going to be really embarassed if this is a well known fact I just didn't know about 😅

Hi, I've always had issues with anxiety but it's at a high at the moment and it's hard to even function.

I am lucky enough to have no social anxiety, but my anxiety is set off so easily and it's impossible to calm down when I do get anxious.

Usually it's over really small things, such as someone saying one slightly negative thing, any sort of criticism stresses me out so much it leaves me "frozen" for days. Also the thought or task of having to respond to people or call the doctors. I'm not anxious while doing it only thinking about doing it.

When I do get anxious, I cant sleep at all unless it's out of pure exhaustion. So I'm always physically exhausted but have to force myself to go out places to be able to sleep.

I fluctuate between not eating for full days, then eating absolutely loads and throwing up.

On my worst nights I have a bit of alcohol to calm me down, but I hate doing this because I know this is how addictions start.

Ive had therapy in the past but unfortunately it hasn't worked all that well for me.

Not looking for a diagnosis or anything, just generally any tips to deal with anxiety while im waiting on seeing a doctor. Anything is greatly appreciated, thank you x
