I built my first fitness app. Looking for honest marketing feedback

Hi everyone,

Over the last year I've been building Agile Athletes, my first iOS app: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/agile-athletes/id6758623960.

The original idea came from being frustrated with switching between multiple apps just to track my workouts, monitor my daily steps, and stay accountable.

So far the app includes:

* 💪 Workout tracking

* 👟 Apple Health / Health Connect step syncing

* 🤖 AI Coach

* 🎥 AI Form Coach (video analysis)

* 🤝 Fitness Network to connect with other gym-goers

* 🧠 Mind Center focused on recovery and wellbeing

It's now live on the App Store & Play Store.

Now I'm trying to market the app successfully. I've recently started:

* creating Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn pages,

* posting demo videos,

* improving my App Store screenshots,

* learning ASO,

* and reaching out to fitness creators.

I'd really appreciate feedback from people who have launched consumer apps before.

Specifically:

* What would you improve about my App Store screenshots or positioning?

* Which feature would you market first?

* Would you focus on ASO first, creators/influencers, or short-form content?

Also, if anyone here works in app marketing or fitness content creation, I'd also be happy to connect and learn from your experience.

Thanks!

Launched my first fitness app. Looking for ASO & App Store growth feedback.

Hi everyone,

Over the past year I've been building my app, Agile Athletes, a fitness app that has just launched on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/agile-athletes/id6758623960.

I made it so it combines:

* 💪 Workout tracking

* 👟 Apple Health / Health Connect step syncing

* 🤖 AI Coach

* 🎥 AI Form Coach (video analysis)

* 🤝 Fitness Network (training partners & community)

However, I've been more focused on the development side of things 😅. Marketing and ASO are a completely different skill set, and I'd really appreciate advice from people with experience.

So far I've:

* Created Instagram, TikTok and Facebook pages for the app

* Created a LinkedIn company page for my software company

* Started creating demo videos of the app

* Started reaching out to fitness creators for future collaborations

I'd really appreciate feedback on things like:

* How would you improve my App Store screenshots?

* What would you change first to improve conversion?

* If you were launching today, how would you grow this app over the next 3–6 months realistically?

* Are there ASO mistakes that first-time founders commonly make that I should avoid?

Also, if anyone here has experience with ASO, app marketing, short-form content, or growing consumer apps, I'd genuinely love to hear your advice, as that's not my expertise. If you're a freelancer or consultant in this space, feel free to mention that as well—I'd be interested in chatting if it seems like a good fit (again, subject to the subreddit rules). Or if you know the best places to look (e.g., Fiverr, Upwork, etc.)

I'm looking for honest criticism as well as how to get more downloads, so feel free.

Proud to Announce my First App Done using React Native +Expo

Hey everyone,

I recently launched Agile Athletes, a fitness app I've built in React Native + Expo.

Originally it started as a workout tracker, but gradually evolved into including more and more stuff that I felt was good to add, e.g.:

• Workout logging & exercise library

• Apple HealthKit / Health Connect step syncing

• Social leaderboards & fitness networking

• AI Coach

• AI Form Coach (video analysis)

Tech stack:

• React Native (Expo)

• TypeScript

• Expo Router

• RevenueCat

• Node.js

Been a long-time lurker on the sub, so am proud to say that I've got an app on both Play & App Store.

Still in the v1 phase, so any and all feedback, suggestions and critisicsms are welcome!

Happy to also answer any questions!

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/agile-athletes/id6758623960

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kroniumtech.agileathletes

\*\*EDIT\*\*

Also forgot to mention, used Google AdMobs too!
