How do you tell if you got a defective unit

Picked up a PS VR2 recently and I’m struggling to get comfortable with the image quality in general. I’ve messed with the lens spacing to match my IPD, redid the eye tracking setup a few times taking my time with it, and it still never feels properly sharp to me.

Then I watch stuff like the Linus Tech Tips video where he’s going on about how crisp the image is, and I’m sitting here wondering if I just got a unit with a bad lens or something.

Is there a way to actually check? Like a test image or some specific thing to look at that would tell me whether it’s a hardware issue vs. just me not having it dialed in right? I don’t want to go through the return process if this is just how it looks and I’m expecting too much.

Any help appreciated.

Any alternative to the Extreme Simracing SGT lower shifter mount?

I’m looking for an alternative to the lower shifter mount for the SGT cockpit from Extreme Simracing, since it’s currently out of stock.

Does anyone know of a compatible third-party option or a DIY solution that fits well?
