Paze Promo Option with FareLock
Just thought I'd share this data point since I couldn't find any info about it online.
I wanted to book two tickets for a flight to Japan but at $1,300 each, I wasn't going to get the full Chase Ultimate Rewards 10x points since it limits you to $1,500 a month in payments that qualify. So, I thought I'd book one ticket in June with Paze and FareLock the other ticket so I can pay it in full in July.
Unfortunately, I wasn't given the option to pay with paze on my FareLock ticket. Which is a bummer, but was still worth a shot. (Flight price almost doubled from June 25th to July 1st).
So to reiterate: You cannot use Paze to pay for FareLock ($50-100 fee). You ALSO cannot use Paze to pay for the flight that was locked with FareLock.
