Pivot to quant dev.
What companies do quants consider a main source/pool for experienced developers to hire from? (Faang?)
What qualifications do they look for then? Do university credentials and relatively older achievements even count?

I’m a student in BITS currently creating a society/club that promotes self-discipline (mental & physical) but also teaches the youth about Indian history (the correct one), Geopolitics, sanatana darshan and dharma along with yog shastra…
Looking for people with an indic leaning as I’m in the process of creating a network of like-minded people across unis.
Let’s get in touch and create our own deep state for a brand new youth.

(goa campus chemistry dualite)
Can someone give me their experience with how difficult/scoring these phoenix branches are...I wanna cg maxx (something lite) coz I've heard dualites should prioritize getting a good PS2
want something lite, but with good opportunities.
ALSO, help my understand how placements work If i'm doing a PS2 for both of my sems
(BPGC - Msc chemistry )
I have been receiving all kinds of opinions from all kinds of people and am having a decision making crisis rn...
So basically, I wish to chose between EnC, ECE and ENI...
(From what I've heard from some, dualites should max out their cg as it helps them get a good PS2 which would hopefully let them get a ppo skipping the placement process...
alright so, cg max karna hain but don't want any disadvantages by taking a btech that is too lite. Also don't want a big load kyunki I might mess up multitasking with my msc...)
EnC mein I've heard some say it's a lot to take in and the combination of CS courses with phoenix (+dual) can be hard, others say it's manageable and CS courses are graded lite...(also website shows EnC and ENI/ECE mein barely 4-5 subjects ka difference hain)
ECE seems like a good bet, but the redundant, boring and math heavy shit in the core year is telling me CG itni easily nahi banegi
ENI seems like the best if I want a lite course, but then some say PS2 mein there's a disadvantage as some companies reject it altogether. And If i'll have to sit for placement it might put me in a worse-off position compared to ECE/EnC...(ik ki skils matter most)
Need some clarification and proper opinions, HELP PILEAJ
