KG Icon Pack Preview. Link to the APK in the description.

Icon Pack APK: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/14u5lpbqUOrcfDhirX8_nBGe9pK8XHlUd

A while back, I posted a couple of animated icons I designed, and some people liked them.

As a beginner eager to learn, I created an APK based on a template called “Blueprint” and bundled all the icons I made into a single APK. If you’d like to try it out, I’ve posted it above in the Google Drive link; it’s called “(KG Icon Pack) tv.kukigraph.iconpack.projectivy-0.8.5 (Preview)-debug.apk.”

It started as a personal project, and even though it takes a bit of work, I have fun doing it.

The APK has a feature to request more icons; if you’d like a custom one, feel free to message me.

I’d appreciate it if anyone who likes it and is able to make a donation would do so—I’d also welcome any requests for specific icons.

Here are a few things that might make this excellent launcher even better

Excellent launcher—I bought the Premium version the second day after installing it. It has a lot of great features.

I switched from another launcher and wanted to give this one a try, but I don’t think I’ll stick with it because I’d like to be able to edit a few things.

  1. There’s a small box around my PNG icons, and I haven’t figured out how to remove it without damaging the icon’s original design.

  2. I can’t make the dock icons any bigger—that’s their maximum size.

  3. The icons don’t support animation. I designed those icons you see there myself in Animation PNG (“APNG”) format, but they don’t work here.

  4. In the favorites row—which many of us use as a “Dock”—I also miss having the option to display a certain number of apps per row. For example, I have 12 icons there; in my previous launcher, I used to have 6 in a row, and when I tapped the down arrow in the same spot, my other row of 6 icons would appear. I couldn’t do that here.

And that’s it—everything else is excellent. I hope they’ll add more features in the future and that at some point they might include some of these functions that I had in another launcher but am missing here. This isn’t a negative criticism; I just think that if they could add these things to the launcher in the future, it would be perfect.

Congratulations to the developer—keep up the great work!

My animated icons at 70%

After several hours over the course of an entire weekend, I finally managed to create my icons the way I wanted.

Photoshop, After Effects, and a website for previewing the files in APNG format—it wasn't easy, but I had fun making them. I still need a couple more icons to complete my setup.

If you'd like to give it a try, I've posted the icons at this link:

Version 4.70 broke my setup :(

I’ll have to edit and tweak my backgrounds to get them to fit again.

Now, when I move from one category to another, their position changes; before, when I did this, they stayed in place, but now I have to edit them all over again 😅

I hope 4.70 isn’t a beta anymore, so that whatever I do now will stick.

I was bored, so I changed some settings.

Liquid Glass is the new trend, so I tried to create the dock icons with a transparent style. I added the glow effect in After Effects, and instead of low-resolution GIFs, I used the APNG format, which is incredibly good.

I’m getting happier and happier with this launcher.

I’m relying a little on the features of TV Quick Actions Pro; I hope they add new things in the next beta, so I’ll have time to have some fun customizing more things.

Hey everyone, I'm here to share my settings since you asked for them in my last post. Read below—I'll include everything there.

A few weeks ago, I posted something, and several people asked me how I got my launcher settings to work that way. What I did was upload the backup file to a link on my Google Drive. If you want, you can just download it and load it into your settings. You can keep it that way or see how I configured it and revert to your original settings. Before trying mine, you might want to make your own backup in case you don’t end up liking it.

I also designed the icons for the dock. I didn’t make many just the ones, I use on my personal dock. Recently, I also created improved versions of the icons in After Effects in APNG format so they have a small animation that triggers when you tap the icon just once. Everything is in the Google Drive link. I hope those of you who asked me how I did it in my last post see this and find it useful. I hope you like it.

I'm currently on Beta 3

Device use: Onn 4K Plus

Here's a look at my setup; I designed the dock icons myself.

I set up my Projectivy Launcher and wanted to show you how it turned out.

I don’t know if any of the developers will see this, but it would be great to be able to set backgrounds—whether static or animated—for cards. Basically, the dock card would have a background, and when you move to the card where the apps are, it would switch to another background of your choice. Think about it—it would be awesome and let us give our launcher a more personalized look. Hopefully, they’ll add something like this someday.

If you want, I can share the PNG files for the dock icons. I only designed the 6 dock icons, including the YouTube one. It would have been a lot of work to make all the icons minimalist like these, especially since we’re constantly deleting and adding new apps. I hope you like them and that they serve as inspiration to some of you.

Here are some screenshots of my customization.

I designed the dock icons using a simple Photoshop template and the original logos to make them as minimalist as possible; I really liked the final result.

I hope that when it comes out of beta, the “continue watching” mode will be a little nicer. I had to remove the text because it’s too long and ruins the look—it would be great if, for example, the episode number, season, and remaining time were right on the icon instead of outside it.

I’m also posting this to show you that I’m having a bit of trouble choosing the background—or rather, the background for the app icons is a headache. It won’t let me choose which file manager to use for searching. I have an Onn 4K Plus with Android 14 and Google TV; it seems that in the latest updates, something is broken—it only lets me use it with the mouse or touchscreen, and the mouse is also somewhat broken in this version of Android on my Onn 4K Plus. I had to select the icons “blindly,” guessing where they were. This took me quite a while, but I was able to finish.
