The word "Bum" is thrown around too randomly. Anyone not "Gapryoung or Shingen" level becomes a bum.
Power scaling is kind of toxic here.There are too many good characters who should be enjoyable regardless of their strength and they got a role to play in that power bracket.

James path has two phase:
1.lets him dodge any attacks
2.Reflects the damage back to the attacker. If the damage is too much he can't completely reflect it and gets pushed away.
Judging by these panels it seems that James couldn’t reflect Kitae's attack back. James just dodged the attack and Kitae's Punch destroyed the church, proving that James can dodge almost everyone using his path but can't reflect the damage back all the time. James says so Himself, "I couldn’t do it".
It would also help to explain why he was smashed deep into wall by Tom Lee.James path simply couldn’t refelct the attack as it was too strong.
Wouldn’t that mean that even Gun, if he attacks with massive force can bypass James Path? And don't say Gun doesn’t have speed. TUI Gun blitzed Goo like it was nothing.
