Looking for a “mindful” mid-range turntable setup (500-800€) Need your audiophile wisdom!

Hello everyone!

I am looking to get into vinyl and start my own collection for me. It’s all about the ritual-similar to brewing the good cup of coffee. I want to clean the record,drop the needle, slow down, and genuinely enjoy the album experience.

My budget: 500-800€ for whole setup. (Europe based).

My music taste: A pretty wide mix. I love cinematic/ambient/modern classical but also electronic and indie beats

Because of the mix, I need something that can deliver crystal clear piano notes and strings, but also handles bass and electronic beats.

Current options I’m considering:

  1. Pro-Ject debut carbonic Evo + a phono preamp
    + active speakers like Edifier S1000MKll

  2. Audio-Technica AT-LP120X+ active speakers
